I know this is an old video, an old game, one I played many years ago, for a very long time. The first Monster Hunter I truly fell in love with. Monster Hunter Tri. This song really takes me back. To those first few steps against large monsters, I have never seen before, the struggle for the Hunter's Mark. The burning beat of my heart as I explored and grew. Learned my weapons, fitting my armours. Hands grasping tightly at the hunt, the monster I call my rival, never knowing just how the fight may go, even with the prep. Then those first steps as the sun peeks over the hills of D.island, blinding you briefly before expanding over the landscape. Thank you for this. Even if you won't read this. Never understand the feelings it brought me. Thank you all the same.

To this day, wholeheartedly agree. Only those with a personal enjoyment of the game can really appreciate how amazing MH tri / ultimate is. By far my favourite out of the series

I feel the same way...even though I didn't start my journey as a hunter until 4U, this song brings so much nostalgia...; how I went from being a greenhorn constantly getting greedy with my attacks, to fighting Elder Dragons as a more experienced and patient hunter. Every now and then I wish I could go back and experience the very first moment I stepped foot into Val Habar and joined the Caravaneer's crew as their Kindred Hunter & Doodle, and once again face Shagaru in battle. Let's not forget the feeling of pride you get after taking down a difficult monster- be it for rare mats or just the feeling of accomplishment, no matter how many times you fall, you refuse to give up until you best the creature (I'm looking at you, Bombs Over Gogmazios!)

@@mokechan From Tri to Four, the first to world. The feeling is the same. The aw-stuck star to the pure majesty of the monsters that would flick their tail and end you. I wish as well I could go back, to Moga Village, talk to Sweet heart, as she rambles on and on about this or that; hoping to be helpful (and famous). When I took my first swim into the run in with Lagiacrus; how it ignored me so; yet I was so frightened by it's grace and presence, then the quest to repel it. I learned to respect it, will steeled for the friends of Moga village. The raise of tension when I had to fight it for real. The Rathians, Rathalos, Uragaan before and after this one fight, though something I am pride myself in beating; never meant more to me. The Irovy and Abyssal Lagiacrus, whom appear with in Ultimate, each showing just how mighty the Lagiacrus. Each making my blood pump more then any foe. Even to this day; elder dragons, raid bosses, returns of great foes, nothing will compare to that feeling, of that thunder ringing through the air, as my shield and lance gripped tight; as I face the beast that pushed me to go so far. Sadly, even if I tried to go back, I could only even enjoy the dance with my Lagiacrus. 5 minutes to get monster guts, 10 minutes to dance with my rival. To this day, I do go back and play 3U just to fight my friend. In hopes he will become stronger then I. One day he will return and show me just how strong he has become. On that day, I could not be smiling any bigger.

This Song always gives me goosebumps. Thinking back to my first hunts, victories and defeats. I've come a long way. Hunting monsters became a trivial task over the years yet I am still seeking something. Something more important than the next piece of equipment... but whatever it is I am seeking, I know that the journey will be worth it.

Hearing this song just makes my heart flutter. I love this franchise so damn much, and I'm glad world brought more fans in to experience this wonderful series.

I have seen and heard this song many times, and I will likely see it a dozen more. Each time I do listen to this, I get the sense of awe and pride of a Monster Hunter. 2:18 "Face the world as the hero, fearless as your blade falls; striking at the heart." We hunt titans! Truly monstrous beasts! And we do it so no one else has to.

The Monster Hunter 3 (on the Nintendo Wii) was the first one I've played and this along the 3U (both Wii U and 3DS versions) are my favorite MH games, even though I've played and still play 4U and Generations which are also amazing.
