Your right about that because in movies when you see the ghost too early it ruins it OK for jump scare but like anything you need to build suspense and fear in the mind of the viewers.

Imagine how scary it would be having to stay there at night if you were in the film crew! If I was in the film crew I’d stay in a motel down the road.

Oh and I also love how the script dispelled stereotypes - as usual she went to shady- looking neighbour seeking answers like maybe someone was murdered there BUT turns out the neighbour had problems of her own!

The uncomfortableness of people touching her belly is not right 👍 nice movie 🍿🎥

He was trying to help but in his own way.he didn't believe in ghosts but was trying to help her by sending her to a psychiatrist and which was right at the end .There was no ghosts just her strong desire to go to Chicago which caused all of it.

What scarier than ghost is not having anyone who believes in you. Not your mom, friend or even your own husband. Thanks for uoloading this, nice movie 👍🏻🤌🏻

I lived in a (dark energy) haunted house too. You are a wise woman in moving out (I had no choice as I was a child at the time and my mum was apparently Ok with it, lol) but I have frequently found myself screaming at videos or films of paranormal activity... "Get in your car and drive away" or 'Just leave the house'. Nothing is worth your emotional or physiological wellbeing and people do not realise how, harmful the effect of exposure to these types of entities and energies can be or, that they can in fact, then attach to the person themselves... It's serious stuff☠️

It's all about mind, if your husband don't belive in ghost demons than it's very hard for wife to convince her husband that house is haunted

The best thing about this movie is camera angles and the lighting.

I've worked in a little town like this, where THE STARERS gape at you, with those blank expressions......I called it "Witchy Town"......yes, I did leave, and felt a huge relief inside me. Always listen to that 6th sense.....it may well save you.

Luke shouldn't die like that. He should have gotten hurt, so he could see that she was right all along and finally apologize to her

Spoilers The ending should have been that the husband got hurt badly only and when he got better he was continually sorry and apologetic to her having realised she was right all along and _immediately_ decided to return to Chicago. In fact this is in my memory of what happened first time l watched _so this change is a Mandella!_

But, funny thing is that the scene cuts right from the Chiropractor's house to the husband's, after the Doc asks: what's stopping you? The husband is stopping her, that's why he dies! Her energy is triggered right away when the doc shoots the question. So crazyyyyyy ! I looooved it

This movie was well done. Excellently written, eerily suspenseful, intelligently thought-provoking, & gripping from beginning to end. And that's how it should be watched. It's well worth it & I strongly recommend this one!

Great to see all the actresses minus tattooed brows and heavy lashes, so refreshing to real natural beauty for a change. Great film and storyline🎉🎉🎉

Really great! The dialogues with the medium were so deep. The actors were very good.

At first I thought it was going to be like Rosemary's baby. As it progressed it looked like Luke should have been married to the mother in law , what a jerk. It was a good movie but a strange ending.

@@TyMiller-md7jt As I said, I believe in the paranormal and this movie was a bit more authentic compared with most supernatural movies. There wasn’t anything special about it but I thought it was well made. I have also felt my late parent’s spiritual presence and believe the afterlife is real.

I would never return to such a house with a BABY!

I was pregnant twice and I know no one can scream so hard or run as fast as that woman in the movie did.

I noticed people starring at her and then later a young girl was starring at her. Makes me wonder if her own mother was telling them stories about her daughter. The husband was really mentally and emotionally abusive to his wife and lied to her about going to live in Chicago; such a mean and deceitful husband.

@@pegstewart4484 The best acting was the wife, the husband's acting didn't match a nonexistent trust, it must be a chemical imbalance in her and logical explanation. He just didn't pull it off for me. In real life, there are real ghost stories of the one important person in the home not seeing anything, or not believing until later when it escalates, the narrative is a given

Great acting, worth a watch, ending could have been less ambiguous but as i say, worth a watch definately.

Don't people just hate it when they see spirits or entities and get disbelieved and told it's all in the mind or make believe or just craziness or just wanting attention. People should be open minded and be more sympathetic to those that see and feel what others don't.

Don't you just hate it when someone insults your intelligence ? It's like gas lighting and brainwashing all rolled into one. Husband, none supportive and selfish. Mother, an over assertive control freak. Cowardly ghost, no show just a lot of noisy drama. I hurt every time poor Jennifer fell, dragged around the house, thrown down the stairs, amazing she didn't miscarry her baby.

That was a really good film, kind of wishing I hadn't watched it just before I go to bed lol! It's been a while since I've seen a film that actually creeped me out!

My theory She had grown up in this town with her narcisstic. Mother. Thats y she wants to leave this town and go to chicago. You can see how arrogant her mother was on her. Her husband also started to deceive her with her mother. He never cared about her feelings. He always accused her fpr not being happy with things he gave her. The karma played its roll. Her mother became dead when she left her.

Sometimes I like these lower / grade budget films. Less special effects etc make it more real. Like the movie "it follows", comes across pretty D grade but the concept stuck with me for days 😱. I definately think Jennifer was more susceptible to this kind of occurrence, she obviously had a lot of "inner demons" and negative energy. I was quite taken with Walter's view point and I wonder if Jennifer had tried to make some sort of peace with herself if things would have changed? However in saying that (having grown up with a narcissistic/ bipolar mother among other negative and abusive events), it's not always that easy to just "change", each person has their own journey, and energy definately could have triggered something in that house. I'm very open minded so who really knows? I quite enjoyed it anyway 😊

House is haunted, positive and negative energies both exist we either effect the environment or the environment affects us. She didn’t kill her husband, the distance he landed too far from the window, no human could push someone like that. Enough said. If you don’t like a house,” for whatever reason don’t move in. Loved this movie - it had me in suspense. First I thought there was something up with the mother and the husband, they were in cahoots, I was very weary of the girlfriend as well. Sometimes the mother was really nice and other times she was mean and nasty. It left you thinking, that's for sure. The husband was no help at all.

the whole time they were there, the season never changed or moved forward. Its as if they filmed the whole thing in a couple of weeks, the peony buds never opened.
