People in the United States will never like this bike since it's neither fast nor loud. It isn't flashy and it is viewed as boring. That being said, I have no desire to ever ride anything other than my 2015 NC700X DCT other than a NC750X DCT. I had wanted to try an automatic as my first bike that I have ridden in about 20 years. I went back and forth between this and the CTX700 and was lucky enough to walk in and see one for sale at a local dealership. I bought it within 20 minutes of seeing it and after three years I am more in love with it than the day I brought it home. Despite this, no one I have met that owns a motorcycle likes this bike other than my dad who says, "It's a cool bike", but I think he's just glad I finally got something to ride. I grew up riding dirt bikes and 3 and 4 wheelers and eventually learned how to ride a bike after growing up on the back of my dad's bikes as a kid. I learned on a Ninja 250, but despite loving the Ninja and sport bikes had no desire to own one in my late 40's.

I bought a 2012 for $3500 3/2022 as gas was going up. I get avg 62-64mpg. 19k miles, brand new pilot road 2ct, new battery, Honda top box, heat seat.
