"japan is so addicted to art that the military might have to take over the government" is one HELL of an oversimplified statement but pretty spot on

That’s the real genius of bill in this video. He somehow finds a way to summarise hundreds of years of history in entire regions of the world in like 4 or 5 words sometimes, but without compromising the essential truth and important part of the story. It’s SO good

Man, I enjoy watching stuff you guys do. Feels like I have mates that are kind of into stuff I like too. Keep doing what you doing!
Man, this video genuinely helped me out in my college Biology class. We were talking about evolution and on one of our tests, it asked what types of creatures came about in the Cambrian Explosion. I, who have watched "The Entire History of the Entirety of the World I Guess" several times, immediately remembered the line "That's the Cambrian Explosion. Wow, that's animals and stuff." I just smiled and marked animals down on my answer sheet. I got it right! There were other instances of that sort of thing too, but that is the one I remember. I had tried to get my history teachers to play this video in class several years but it never happened. I think it is really helpful, especially after watching it several times.
This gives people a jumping off point to learn history.

That was proper funny! Thanks blokes!
I think that my favorite part of this video, even beyond being a jumping off point for deeper topics, is how it helps show how some events are interconnected. You may know about the 7 year war, the American Revolution, and the French Revolution, but normally you study them each as kind of an independent event. Seeing 'France and England fought, so England was broke and started taxing america heavily. America revolted but France helped and now they are broke too, so their people revolted' all in a smooth flow helps bring those events together in your mind. And he has one other video like this on his channel, a complete history of Japan.
this is quite literally my favorite video on the internet, it doesn't matter how many times i watch it i always laugh and sing a long
I agree wholeheartedly that history and science would be better being taught as an overview like this. Most people don't need to know the boring details that turn people off. But the people who will be interested will have their curiosity piqued to learn more if they want. This video also shows how many historical events many think are isolated events are actually connected to everything else.
I've rewatched this whole video many many times with other reaction channels and I never get sick of it. One of the best KZread videos ever made for sure.
Now all thats left to react to is "The ocean is way deeper than you think"
It took the creator of this video 11 months to make it. That is dedication!
I like that you guys picked up on the pattern of it all. That's one thing I noticed about watching the history of the world like this, is the rise and fall of empires, countries, etc. It's a constant flow throughout history. There have been periods where the world was fairly static, but pretty short lived relatively speaking. A few generations at most. Beyond that, I agree the production of this video was amazing. They manage to give you basically the entire history of the world in 20 minutes, and make it entertaining enough to watch.
That took Bill Württemberg 11 or 12 months to make. Amazing dedication.
Thx for reacting

The amount of time that's covered in this video is astounding, especially in the beginning. Obviously they slow down once they get to recorded history, but even then our lives are covered in less than one syllable. Do you feel there a similar sentiment toward the British (specifically white people) due to their conquests of various civilizations throughout history?
