Part of the problem for why miner is so OP, is because draws are impossible now. Draws gave players a chance when going against a counter deck, when they renoved that i never really liked the game as much, chip decks became way too OP. For me it kinda ruined the game.

I like your videos but you are pretty much summarizing the history of miner video Gratz made. I know Gratz is controversial in the clash community but that doesn’t justify copying a video. I think you make incredible clash of clans videos and you obviously have lots of game experience. I learned a lot from those videos. I would try and grow you clash of clans channel then work on other supercell games. Keep up the good work.

the thing with miner decks is that they are immediately in control of the match. its broken in the sense that the miner is essentially an undefendable win condition made balanced by the fact that it does so little damage imagine a hog rider that you physically couldnt stop from reaching the tower, but it only did 1/7th damage sounds broken the way that miner is considered balanced is that it relies on human error. a perfect miner player wins every game in every matchup. the only thing a theoretically perfect miner player couldnt beat would be getting starting handed so the best ways to beat miner are to hope that the player isnt good, or to get lucky. thats not healthy for the game when miner is in a game, its his game to win, and everyone else is just in it and the fact that miner can still be used alone as a win condition is really telling to how op it is in other decks. brad was saying that what the miner needs is either to get an hp nerf or even more tower damage nerfs. it should be a pop up tank or a win condition, not both and no matter how much of a tower damage nerf the miner gets its still gonna be pretty good. i mean, imagine perfect gameplay, neither player makes a single macro or micro mistake the whole game, spell damage is exactly tied, and nobody ever gets through on offense. except for miner. there isnt a perfect way to be able to always catch a miner, so the perfect player who is playing miner beats the perfect player who is not. even if the miner did only 1 damage, it will still make the difference. as pro players become closer and closer to truly perfect, miner will have to repeatedly get nerfed and nerfed in its tower damage to keep up they could follow that path or they could rework miner once and for all to put an end to its insane versatility. generally the cards that can too too many things are broken. queen was broken bc she did too much damage, while also being tanky and going invis. mighty was broken bc he was a tanky inferno anti swarm lane changer. e giant was broken bc it was a tank wincon anti splash anti ranger. little prince is broken bc hes a tank dps anti ground anti swarm and anti ranger. phoenix was op bc it was an air dps tank that could respawn miner fits this kinda description. miner is a spell tank anti ranger win condition. he does too many things for him to be balanced. drill is broken in the same way actually, it has the same mechanic, and even has a tower spawn damage, its just that the drill doesnt do damage immediately so it is physically possible to counter. the main thing with drill is just that it counters miner since drill fireball outchips miner poison so it usually falls by the wayside or is completely broken because it either only beats miner, or beats everything (same way miner does but better) so it kinda cant be balanced.

"spell damage is exactly tied" that implies identical decks and matchups exist so no definitive best deck will last as the best for long this will mean that there were mistakes made. "except for miner. there isnt a perfect way to be able to always catch a miner" like i said goblins or other swarm units, any positive elixir trade will be useful unless there is a prediction spell. "generally the cards that can too too many things are broken. queen was broken bc she did too much damage, while also being tanky and going invis. mighty was broken bc he was a tanky inferno anti swarm lane changer. e giant was broken bc it was a tank wincon anti splash anti ranger. little prince is broken bc hes a tank dps anti ground anti swarm and anti ranger. phoenix was op bc it was an air dps tank that could respawn" all those share something in common the miner somewhat lacks, that they can do most of those things with the same card being placed down no having to choose but the miner kinda doesn't you don't get win con, spell, tank and anti ranger all at once, he often has to choose 1 or two also you can just make those uses worse, and it will be balanced and for the goblin drill, the miner still doesn't deal instant damage also the whole thing with perfect players makes no sense when you have to predict matchups and you need to assume somewhat imperfect players because those players are human, not bots

@justenoughrandomness8989 as time passes people are getting closer and closer to perfect, i mean have you seen some of the crazy plays the pros make here it makes sense to think at least slightly long term when thinking about balances Also only skarmy and gang can actually cover the whole tower from miner, and no matter what swarm you use, theyre just poison value anyway. The best miner counter is ice spirit behind the tower and play a tank when the miner resets, theres just about no poison value and the miner gets 1 hit max But even then, that one hit is still damage and it still forced out a minimum of 4 elixir
