Notice how different these two statements feel: »I have a Champion card« »I just have a card with an ability I use sometimes« Champions lost their special feeling just like legendaries did because Supercell follows the same strategy in a lot of their games - release something OP and nerf it to the ground shortly after. This happens in Brawl Stars all the time too

Honestly when I first saw one of this channels videos I thought it was gratz on an alt

I cannot belive the 3 first champions came out 3 years ago. In 2021 everyone(at least in my case) used to talk about them, and now, they are only 3 more cards for me. Do all of you agree?

Champions were op on purpose then they added evos and nerfed the crap out of the champs. Even though the champion's 3 card cycle should add to the power evos letting get more of the same card on the field. That hasn't played out they are more like a rook instead of a queen.

The 3 card cycle is very used in the game to cicle evos faster, but due to the fact that you can only have 1 champion in the deck, everybody end up by choosing the very broken little prince to do this. Supercell knows that the little prince is still very broken, but they purposely will keep it like this for some more time to still receive money from the players (also, the "Book of Books" item is no longer available in the game nowadays, so it makes way harder to level up champion cards), and then, when most of the community finally max out the little prince they gonna nerf it to the ground and release another champion card (they also mentioned that in their roadmap of 2024)

@@henriquec.backes227 nah before the little prince the Champs had a use rate of like 20% between all 5 of them. People use little prince becuase he is op nit because he is a champ.

At the beginning of the video you stated that the little prince has an 8% usage rate, which is incorrect if you go off of grand challenge stats, where he currently has a 47% use rate, making him the most used card in the game

archer queen: 5 elixir skill card (players dont have skill) golden knight: bandit but u can activate ability, +3 elixir electro spirit with more damage skeleton king: dark prince + skarmy that need a charge mighty miner: 👌 monk: garbage of 30$, and needs skill and ability of predict (nobody have's that) little prince: only champion that can kill a tower by himself and a little x-bow

the biggest difference between champs and legendaries is that champs are still a pain the ass to evolve I'm fr still using a level 11 because the rare times i get one, it's either monk or golden knight 🫠 can't trade with other people, can't buy wildcards in the season shop and pushing ranks for that wildcard with a level 11 is painful

I remember when I first got the Queen she was so good, I won match after match with her. But now she can barely kill a magic archer or a musketeer without her ablilty.

Champions are still the funnest cards to use over any other cards in my opinion.

champions are supposed to feel like the central card in your deck, but all decks already had that before champions (e.g. a hog deck or a pekka deck). the problem is that champions coupd be powerful and take a lot of elixir, but what would really make them different from any other big card? this isn't like clash of clans where you can deploy dozens of troops and have an obvious "leader" of the group

why did you use ladder stats instead of grand challenge stats for your stats? the ENTIRE point of grand challenge stats was that it covers all of the portions of the playerbase!

The problem with champions is the fact they keep nefing them down to the level of other normal cards, champions should have been balanced with their ranks in mind. Not the rest of the cards. (Yes they still shouldnt be super OP but they were nerfed almost down to feeling like normal cards)

The archer queen and the golden knight got buffed in the balance changes

Buff idea: make the champions need a certain amount of elixir cycled for them to become available and give them all a big buff

in 5 years: why dont cards feel like cards anymore?

They should add a new rarity that’s even more rare than champions and they should only appear in chest ONLY and not the pass Royale, shop, season shop, challenges, and path of legends

how about this changes for champions? 1.Abilities will recover 25% hp or 40% depending of the champion, bein melee or range 2.Champion ability cooldown time get reduce but must reload in deploy 3.Buff for hp for GK,EK, monk, and miner max damage time is reduce 4.Give golden knigth a pasive like buffing his damage when below 30% hp

I honestly think golden knight and little prince were the stupidest idea for a 'champion' unit like running fast and bumping into units or just screaming for help from a guard is just the least innovative and unique idead for a 'champion' unit. Its like they added a Bandit with a button for the dash and a ramp up archer with a knight spawn, like if this all it takes then royal ghost, Mother witch , the phoenix and the mirror even should be 'ChaMPions'. (PS: can i get civil and genuine opinions for this one plz?)

They're just cards with an ability. Just like death effects and spawn effects, and even the builder base troops abilities from clash of clans. Plus they gave a prince an ability and not the princess? And the queen and lil prince are annoying.

Tf do you mean. Do you know how bad it is when the meta strictly revolves around a select few cards? The same is happening with little prince but he'll get nerfed like the other champions eventually. Additionally upgrading champions is a pain in the ass so upon a new broken champion's release you need to spend money to max it out otherwise you'll be under leveled as a pro which is naturally disadvantageous.

That usage rate is only due to how difficult it is to level it up. With how awful the tower troop chests are, it’s nearly impossible for free to play players to get it to a usable level. But going off of how strong the card actually is, it is MUCH better than the princess tower, mostly because of it’s ability to wreck large tanks units and kill certain units in one shot such as wall breakers, firecracker, and evolved bomber. The cannoneer is only a failure if the devs meant for it to be balanced.

@@zythexarthe mistake they made was even adding “levels” for them All they had to do was make it so if your level 14, BOOM. Level 14 cannoneer. Level 13? Level 13 cannoneer. It’s not hard, but they basically set the cannoneer up for failure cause of that

They are just not used because: When the pass when the pass was 5 dollars and had a book of books, u needed to be lvl 14 to obtain them. When they became more accessible the pass got nerfed to the ground. They are just to difficult to level up for the casual player, I have 12 cards lvl 14 and only have 3 champs lvl 12.

Something that make me sad is that i don't played clash royale in the time that come champions, and they come in my birthday mounth. ... ... ... EMOTIONAL DAMAGE-
