My son was in a horrible accident, he barely survived. While he was rehabbing he discovered CoC. He told me about it and I got it as well. This was one month after TH12 was released. The game became our "thing". Even though he was half way across the country, we were in our own clan with other family members and it kept us connected every single day. We would friendly challenge each other, chat, discuss strategies and even daily life stuff. So CoC became interwoven in our lives and was the best thing that I ever did. I am ashamed at how much money I have spent on it, my son too. But it's like playing chess with a dear friend. And I have been a Judo Sloth subscriber since then as well. You Itzu, Carbonfin, Lex and Lady B feel like family though I have never met any of you. We ARE family, just kind of a weird one...

Man changing it to where troops no longer cost elixir/dark elixir to train was such a good idea. It’s just so much better being able to experiment with different armies and being able to attack whoever you want without worrying about losing elixir

I remember I was 7 when I first started playing. Can't believe how much fun I've had with this game. I took a 5 year break from the game but now I'm 16 and I'm back to playing, so nostalgic to see this good old gameplay

I’ve done that too and I had a old th7 account that my brother took control of after I stopped playing and he owns it now and I never got it back but I am th11 now and grinding my way up

Clash of clan brings so much memories, especially when I used to spend hours speaking in global chat, and that one day when 5th anniversary hype was beyond everything.

I remember when the skeleton traps first came out and were upgradable, I kept thinking that they were going to be taken out of the game after Halloween just like the prior years Christmas traps and spells. Here we are 8ish years later and they’re still here lol Glad to see they kept those

I used to play the game in primary school when it had just released with all my friends. It spread like wildfire back then, after a month of it's release, everyone in school was playing it. That was a really great time. Me and some of my friends would hide during brakes to play it together. I stopped playing not too long after Town hall 11 released but I still have very fond memories of the game. This video actually made me want to play the game again and test all the things they added since

Me and my group of clash friends I met on the game have all been playing together since 2013! We started in a clan called the titans and then merged with another into Irish Wolfhound. Our leader has passed away from cancer since but we have him in the clan and a commemorative note for him in our description. This game brought us all together, a variety of personalities and ages. Really feels like a home away from home.

I love this game, I just wish I didn’t fall off of it! I started right when it came out, played on and off for the first few years, and then didn’t touch it from about 2015-2018. I’ve just recently gotten back into it again, and that’s what lead me to this channel! Always great content, keep up the good work :)

I do remember some of these stuffs before I stopped playing 4 or 5 years ago. And I truly am fascinated about the whole massive updates. I truly appreciated their updates regarding the clan peak since it not just offer fun experience but also has greater rewards which is efficient in building our base with so much accuracy. I am a fan of yours though, so thank you for sharing this whole journey. Such a memory back then, looking forward for more videos from you and happy clashing always.

My experience of coc- -my first online game -started about 8 or 9 years sago when i was in class 2 -played for 3 years and left for 5 years -again i started playing before 5 months -Its a awesome game -lots of memory is attached with coc -Happy 10th Anniversary COC

Started playing in 2016 an d stopped in 2017 when the builder base was introduced. I revived my acnt one month ago in July 2022. Lots of changes I see since then.

@@aakashpatel7798 I disagree. I remember only using barch 90% of the time because proper armies were super expensive and took like 2 hours to train. Also waiting a week+ for a single upgrade at TH8 was a bit ridiculous

@@Monke636i agree on expensive armies and time taken to train pekka,drag,lava,golem was too much...but now it is so cheap that even if you fail your attack you dont have to worry about loss in elixir and de, that removes the challenge and seriousness...time reduction for training was still good update

I've been playing for nearly 6yrs. I saw my friends playing and telling me look at this I got new buildings. I became very interested in the game. I quitted the game in between for a year. But randomly I found judo's channel and that made me play it again. I'm glad the game greatly improved. When I first logged back in after a year I was completely confused. Judo's tutorials made me get a kickstart to the game and here I'm now having fun playing coc and watching judo and other coc content creator's content. Thanks Judo! Edit: I miss the global chat 🙆‍♂️ it was fun

Global chat used to be fun but after some time global chat became a literal place to spam! P.S. I too was confused when I started playing coc after a long time but my friends who were already playing it guided me.

This is soo much nostalgic .. Like i was in 7th class , when i started playing coc , i even remember many moments like buying ancient skull for half a million..Struggling for opening drags for 20 lakhs ..More than half of my class plays coc that time and we made our clan ,Good times..I deleted this game many times but still i am 12 th passed and at th 13 , playing with most of my same friends of that time ...Coc has become a good part of life .Satisfying , enjoying , refreshing , beautiful game..❤❤Thanks Judo for making those memories come again.

Watching this video was like reliving my childhood, first getting into the game with my siblings in the Christmas of 2012, I would always get so hyped for these updates. Thanks for the nostalgia!

I remember when I started playing clash of clans, like in 2014 or 2015. I deleted it 2 times, and I finally started my real journey at March 2018. I really missed those old days.

My friend and I were just discussing the old days of CoC, and we talked about how much improvement has come to the game over the years. We've played on and off over the years, but the push to be maxed out has never faded away. As 2 guys that have played since the beginning in 2012, we got a laugh at some of the old features. - No quick training, you had to manually go to each barracks and train 1/4 of your army capacity. A lot of math was required in this to be efficient. - As Judo discussed, making a base layout before edit mode. You had to move all walls and buildings to the outer edge and move one by one back to where you wanted it. - And of course our minds being blown every time an update came out, completely changing the game, adding new defenses and new ways to gain more loot. Progress was slow in the beginning, and I love what they've done to accommodate different play styles and more costly upgrades. Great video Judo, this really brought me back.

Nice vid Judo, this brings so many memories. My best memories in CoC were with my friends around 2016-2017. I remember we had made a clan with students even from higher classes. Those were fun days.

Man, Clash of Clans has come a long way indeed. I remember, when I was in 6th grade in 2014, just a tiny tot, I had heard about clash from my friends for the first time. Not very keen on gaming then. But now that I have also become a part of the community, it just amazes me how it used to look back then and how they have improved over the years. There are many other feelings that I am unable express. I might have joined the party late but it definitely wasn't the one I was going to miss. Clash On!!

I started at some time in late August/early September 2012 on my brand new ipod. I remember being super confused when they added heroes and dark elixir thinking it was unnecessary to introduce a third ressource. Also I didn't like the look of the newly added th9 and would have prefered to remain on the beautiful th8 buildings. The long training and search for attack times were a pain in the ass though. And seeing the old dragon and giant artworks again was very nostalgic. The base-builder was such a great addition, it really was a struggle to first put all of the walls and buildings on the edge of the map before building a new base. And finally: It really took me some time to not click on every single mine/collector and barrack anymore when collection ressources/building troops because I had gotten so used to it. Was kind of a funny but tedious mini game though as was figuring out the most time-effective way of training your troops.

I played the game sporadically in 2013/2014 as well as 2016/2017, but I only really started getting invested in the game in 2019 and onwards. I wish I played more before and had more of the limited edition items from back then. Either way this is my favorite mobile game and the only one I play consistently. I think I started watching your videos in 2021 because I was looking for new base layouts, and your videos have helped me out with all of the challenges.

CoC is a LEGENDARY game! I played for the first time around 2014, I left the game many times then I came back again and again and again. CoC is a game where even if you quit, you will still have the same enjoyment when you play it again. ❤️❤️❤️

This video makes me feel old, I apperently started playing COC even before judo did and yet I only got to th8 (highest level at the time) before quitting and returning recently. But the old iPad i used to play on doesn't work anymore so I've had to start over again.

I started so late playing clash of clans at 2020, but I feel so connected and related to all this things when I see them in any where which I never experienced before. I love Clash of Clans❤️.

I played with 2 people, John and CC back in the day. When TH9 came out John got it and I was so impressed I ended up rushing my base and I'm just now at the point where my TH11 account is nearly maxed out. Had a lot of troops and walls to catch up on, but it made the grind worth it. I've kept most of the limited decorations on my base and I'm currently working on rearranging them in timeline order.

You forgot to mention that X-bows were powered by Dark Elixir. 😂

Judo, theres a part of the clash of clans history that everyone seems to forget. The game was released on june 2012 in Canada, for its beta testing fase. This was also the time where bases with the super old stone were created.

I faintly remember starting clash in late 2018, I was rushed to th9 and didn’t play for 2 years after that. In 2020, I went back on and I had forgot my supercell Id. Luckily I still had found it and unrushed my base. It took me 3 months to max th9 but it was fun. Now I use that account to donate high level troops to my smaller account. I started playing this game when th10 was the last level you can build. Few months later th11 was released and that update was the biggest change in coc history in my opinion. Eagle artillery was introduced, grand warden was introduced lot of changes were brought into the game

I'm always on and off playing CoC some months I'll play it almost everyday and then not okay it for several months. The best thing is coming back and seeing all the updates that make the game just feel better to play which is the main reason why I keep coming back

Ive been playing CoC since 2014. Man I am a bit teary eyed while watching this video. Brings back a lot of memories. With CoC I made a lot friends which is more like family now to me. It also came to a point that every war I always get palpitations because of how close the matches were. I learned how to manage people and how to become a leader. This game is not just a game to me. CoC thought me things I never imagined I would use in my career and everyday life.

Would love to see a video like this but going over the meta’s from each era.

I remember I started playing in 2012 with my older brother when I was 5 and he was 7, So many fun memories of us creating our own clans and helping eachother and growing through the years. Unfortanely there was no supercell id back then and me and my brothers stoped using our tablets in like 2015 and lost all our progress. I started playing again on a new device in 2016 but my brother stopped playing and now Im 16 and my brothers 18 and I still play from time to time. I journey I have had with the game as it has been a part of me growing up while watching soccer games and world cup games. good times.

Thank You very much! I quit in 2015 and startet again a few weeks ago. Although the game is self-explanatory, the video is helpful to see what I've missed.

Have been playing this game off and on for my whole life. I think I started playing as soon as it came out on Android. My timeline of playing has been play when they release a crazy thing for about a month then stop. My dad was massively into the game as well. He made an entire clan of just himself (tons of accounts) and didn't lose a single clan war. This was a great video to watch as I just recently got back into it again. Idk how long the surge will last lol.

For me the dec 2019 update with th13 was easily the best even though I wasn’t close to upgrading to it at the time. Which just shows how good of an update it was because I wasn’t going to unlock th13 anyway. I think the best type of updates have been during the winter months these past few years(except for the December update for 2021).

Happy 10th birthday to Clash Of Clans, Its honestly so fun, I've been playing it since like 2015 or 2016, the only sad part is that the support system is so bad, i've been trying to get my account back for like a year but nothing helps

I really love the editing on this vid, almost every time the face cam comes into view, it's always in a different mask, different style, or different area on the screen, that's a really unique way to change the pacing of the video with only 2 things going on :D

The fact I remwnber being 5 and playing on my brother ipad and using the good old dragon strat back in 2013 and now this how the game developed so rewarding to see how the game is alive and well, now 15 and hope this game never dies a part of my childhood for sure

I remember I maxed Th 13 at the end of 2019 and I stopped playing cuz of college. This is really nostalgic, cuz I started play coc at the start of 2013 It's seems really different now

I just came back at playing CoC from almost 5 years of hiatus, sadly I can no longer recover my old account so I had to start a new and the first thing that I noticed was theres was no unit cost. I really got surprised but oh boy, that was just the start and I got immediately hooked after I found out all the updates that has been added in my absence. When I told my brother that I came back (He maxed out when we stopped) He immediately installed the game ang got back at it right away(while also actively playing Clash Royale) and also got blown out with all the added content in the game. It was also kinda heartbroken that the villager will mistake you to a goblin once you go back after several years of not playing. I still wonder If I can recover my old account bec after my brother told me about that scene, I feel like its a task for me to find the long lost colony that I abandoned.

I play COC way back 2013, after watching this vlog it kinda bring back the old times that me and my classmates used to compete with each other leveling up the base with the rule of no rushing the base. We always compare our bases and the fact that there was no edit mode at that time we really invest time copying bases that we found online it kinda hurt your finger though 🤣 cause you need to individually move all the buildings. After a year I stop playing and came back a month ago. I regret that I stop playing cause if I continue I think I reach the max base. But yeah I'm happy that I'm finally back.

I remember how different the game looks when I first started playing it during my first year in high school (around september to october 2014) and seeing how it looks today now that I am in my 3rd year of college studies. Still love the game after playing for almost 8 years. This will definitely be one of the best games that I have ever played. Thanks for taking me on a trip down memory lane Judo! Back in 2017 a lot of people I know got into clash so I also downloaded clash I played for atleast a year until I stopped and I recently got back into clash like 3 months ago and I started from scratch for the nostalgia and I can tell you that its still a very fun game.

I’ve been playing on and of since the beginning. I first started when I was 6 after a surgery. I don’t play that much and aren’t very good but this video brings so much nostalgia. Thanks Judo for the good memories.

I remember TH10 was such a bid deal at that time and getting Valks as reinforcement was a personal achievement 😂. In my 20s and these memories make me feel older !

Me and my group of clash friends I met on the game have all been playing together since 2015 Those days are unforgottable and I love my 15's a lot. COC was one of the part of childhood.
