thats a silly comment. Khabib dominated MMA with an almost exclusively grappling-centered game. At heavyweight, where the top athletes are 40+, gordon is 27. he could absolutely be a top 10 in the ufc heavyweight division. Michael jordan was in the minors

@@WillReusch You're a fool. No gi JJ is worlds different than Sambo. The first thing Gordon would do in an MMA fight is fall back to the ground and hope to hell his opponent doesn't know muay thai and is dumb enough to jump into his guard. @@xStaman True Sambo and Nogi are very different but Ryan moved from a leg lock centric bottom game to dominant top pressure and positional control game. He has the ability to adjust and adapt . Danaher also has significant coaching experience in MMA incl. GSP. Chances are Gordon will train with Tonon and GSP when transitioning. If he gets serious he has multiple advantages, so I wouldn’t discount him.

Can we just get one thing straight? All this "I don't have time to sleep, no days off" kind of bullshit, should be considered idiotic. 1. It challenges the vestribular areas of your brain, making it harder for you to roll. 2. it degenerates your learning abilities, meaning that what you could have learned in 3 hours, will now take you 5 (and then you miss even more sleep). 3. Your homeostasis is getting fucked and you are prone to injury. 4. It doesn't make life better not to sleep, there is a reason why we need food, water and rest. So please, stop telling these stories as if hard work = staying up late and getting poor rest.

Too bad he's not the GOAT because he could never beat a prime Rickson Gracie whether Gi or No-Gi, and could never beat Roger Gracie wearing the Gi either. Jiu Jitsu is in the Gi. No-Gi is not Jiu Jitsu, it's submission grappling.

you know how many guys from Royce background and training Gordon has tooled? You also know Royce wasnt even close to being one of the best jiujitsu guys right? MMA made him big. There isnt a Gracie alive that could out grapple Gordon in a pur grappling match hands down.

Me? Im dead serious...the ONLY Gracie that has the same creds or even considered skills in PURE grappling (not MMA) is Roger Gracie. Todays prime Gordon and yesterdays prime Royce would not even be a match... those who say otherwise dont follow/do submission grappling.
