I’m glad that he had no interest in cheap worldly acclaim, which promises much but contains little of eternal value. Too many are lured by phone glitz and glamour which soon proves futile and empty.

Kenny was offered the opportunity to sing country music on several occasions. He turned it down every time. Good for him.

Kenny and Larry where Man of God there sole is in heaven and so where there mother and daddy and the other Brother and sister I Believe there children of God also

Kenny's faith was so strong that there wasn't anything to waiver it. I look forward to seeing him in Heaven. I was so fortunate to see The Original Hinsons with Bo at several live concerts here in Augusta, GA. Thank you Jesus for these wonderful memories.

If only the lost of this world would realize God is the answer to their loneliness and pain.

My dad would have the jubilee on before we went to church on Sunday morning back in the 70's. This group is wonderful.

I watched it every Sunday morning in the early 70's as well. The Hinsons were my favorite group and I always wanted a voice like Kenny's.

This brings back some old memories of my childhood. I use to watch this group every Sunday morning before church. This is where I got my love for gospel music and the love for this group. One of the greatest blessings in my life was when I got do a service with Ronny and we had a time in the Lord Ronny is a great man of God sence then I have been on stage with him many times. I never got to meet the rest of the Hinsons but I did get to meet Chris Hawkins Freeman, a wonderfull woman of God.

I love the Hinsons;When I was a young boy I would get up early on Sunday morning just to hear Cris Freeman sing.She was my first inspiration to sing Gospel music.They all compliment each other very well.you can tell they love what they're doing,and it shows by the anointing.I loved Yvonne with them also.

The Hinsons were the best! My father got saved under this song. Tears flooded from his eyes when he heard the song until his death.

In times like these these I'm so thankful for Jesus because He is the only One who does calm those troubled waters. I have listened to the Hinsons and this song for 15 and a half years, since I got saved, great song and through all my desperate battles it is still true! Love it!

Not sure how old they were,but this is from the Gospel Singing Jubilee show that was produced and hosted by Les Beasly of The Florida Boys. It was on the air in the 70's . Just guessing but I would say this was taped in the early 70's.

Why don't you believe anymore? Look at what Jesus went through to provide salvation for us. Satan will do whatever he can to destroy us. If you are not living for the Lord anymore, then you are now living for the evil one. Jesus will take you back if you want to come back. His Word says that He is married to the backslider.

Thank you very much Jean for your kind words. I do my best to try and believe I want to be back to point of beliefe I once had. I've never left the church ( well then again we are the church so as I have not a full "in faith" i suppose) in a way I have for though we do not go out & commet sin we must believe. Therefore I've failed. You ask why I do not or have lost so much beliefe; it seems each time I come to a point it seems to start building it gets kicked; just one more young & true christain loved one is taken while I watch one I know for sure ( know without doubt for have saw their works & know they have no God within them & hurt all in awful ways) yet they walk awy free from all and live off the lifes of those they hurt = I say they are a leach - a blood sucker whom must live off others and those whom allow it are no better; these whom allow it have been raised better; this too you know as fact for you know the parents & watched them grow; still you see the true taken the ones whom are doing right and walking upright in all the ways of the Lord; the funeral home crowed with all who say how good they were & not one bad word do you hear.. Yes, I know it rains on the just and the unjust alike.; but I also believe His word is for the living not the dead for once the soul leaves the body you are done.

Keep holding on, Janet. Unfortunately keeping our eyes on other human beings brings discouragement. Even we fail our own selves many times. Keep your eyes on Jesus, try your best to focus on what he's done and continues to do for you. Study his word, even a small bible passage a day will bring you much comfort.

I respectfully would like to relay, as in the King James Bible, that as soon as we die, our souls leave this body and will be in Heaven if we're born again or in Hell if we never accepted Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. When Jesus returns our bodies will be joined with our soul. Kenny is in Heaven this very moment and God probably has him singing lead in that great Heaven Choir.
