Kenny Hinson the best singer ever!!

They don't come any better, than, bro Kenny Hinson and the Hinson family, Amen

They can sure call be anything they wish. I would rather be crazy for the Lord Jesus than anything this world has.

This was not only the most talented singer to ever grace a gospel stage but he was every bit a gentleman too! I met the group in the 1980's and during intermission I asked Kenny if he would sing "Homesick To Go" and when the second half started he said he had a request to do this song and he sang it beautifully! The Hinsons will forever be my favorite gospel group.

I am 16 years and I have had the pleasure of touring as the piano player for the remaining members of the Hinsons. I do not regret one bit of it.

What a great singer to praise God, he left way too soon

My favorit singer of all time. As a teenager i was suicidal. I would sit for hours and hours and listen and sing along with the Hinsons. God used thier music to get me through one of the hardest times in my life. Kenny was taken from this world way too soon, but i can almost hear him singing to Jesus with that beautiful voice.

If Southern Gospel had superstars, Kenny would have been a superstar and this would be his signature song. He could have made a fortune in country music, but he chose to obey the Lord and sing songs to save souls. If he could communicate with us from heaven, he would say it was worth it all, because the beauty and happiness that he's feeling now all the world's silver and gold cannot buy.

Probably the best lead singer to ever take up a microphone. He could improvise in a different way every night and never repeat himself once. He seems like the kind of fellow you'd want for a next door neighbor. I really miss the original Hinsons...

I am a huge southern gospel fan, and feel as though at 54 how I could have not know about the Hinson's. Over the last month, I have been listening to them daily, what a wonderful family. Kenny is by far one of the most talented gospel singers I have ever heard. I feel as though I missed out on such a great ambassador to our Father in Heaven. One thing I know, he is now walking the streets of gold. Thank you Kenny and the Hinson family.

I saw them in concert several times in IN while they were still touring the Midwest. They were all polite and friendly Christian people. I asked them to sing The Lighthouse and Kenny dedicated it to me by name. I have enjoyed listening to their music throughout my 58 years!!!

He was chosen, by one far superior to all the rest, Jesus Christ, and you can tell it, by the way he expresses himself, when he sings! I am sure his father has richly blessed him, for all that he put aside down here, to take the time to make everyone notice his Heavenly Father! Use me Lord, like You did Brother Kenny, so that no one will ever doubt which team I am on! The winning team!

I had the.pleasure of seeing them in concert. I love the Hinsons, Kenny has an amazing voice.

It just doesn't get any better than this. Anointed, spirit-filled singers testifying to the grace and glory of God. The Holy Spirit bears witness to Jesus through singing like this. Praise God!!

I love this song too. He starts out the song with a great voice, the harmony is good, the music is catchy, the lyrics are great. It is hard to say what my gospel great but this is definitely one of them along with other songs such as Shoulder to Shoulder by The Steele's and Joy on the Other Side of Jordan by Kirk Talley.

I'm thankful that I got to meet the Hinsons when they were teenagers at Plainview Congregational Holiness Church...one of the first places they sang the song that Ronnie wrote...The Lighthouse... Before they got famous.

The Hinsons are probably my all time favorite Gospel group. "Call me Gone" is beautiful. I think I'll add it to my songs to be played at my funeral.

He was not a country singer. He would not compromise with the world and stayed true to his Christian values.. and would only sing for God

Kenny Hinson was a truly gifted singer. He is greatly missed. He had the most incredible smile. He loved life and performing. I never knew him but he seems like such an easy going person. I know everyone has a bad day every now and then, but he was almost always smiling. He used every minute to repay God for his incredible voice. He's with Jesus now and he's still smiling.

I got to know Kenny & the gang pretty well. Yes, Kenny Always had a smile on his face. He was a TRUE Man of GOD without a doubt! I still Miss him to this day. There was Nothing Fake about Kenny at ALL? He Loved life & he Loved everybody. But, most of all. He LOVED GOD First & foremost & it showed. You didn't have to ask If he was a Christian? I absolutely love the Hinsons.... I've been following them since I was a teen ager back in the 70's... My dad use to promote Christian music groups so I went to a lot of concerts... Dad promoted the Hinson's for a few years then one day dad told us that they ( the Hinsons) were moving to Nashville, Tennessee..... They've done great over the years and it really was terrible that Kenny passed away back in 1995....

The Hinsons Were one of the Best Gospel Groups in History. Kenny might of had several loves in his life but his main love was Jesus Christ and he made that known on and off the stage. I miss Kenny Henson and their group was in my life in post teen and the 20's. Well, to say over 45 years now of listening to the Hinsons. Im a fan forever.... God Bless you Hinson Family.

I love the Hinsons... Back in the late 70's and early 80's my family was close to their family.. I remember after a Hinson concert in Hollister, California Ronny, Kenny, Larry, and Evoughn came to our home to eat... Kenny and i spent most of our time playing pool.... Kenny was actually a great pool player. I really do miss my friend..

I would love to sing in Heaven with Kenny!!!!! He's probably the only person that I've ever said that about! I loved Kenny's voice! And especially this song! I would say he was definitely my all time favorite southern gospel singer! He had so much ability! He changed his songs, improvising them different each time he sang, maybe to keep from getting bored of singing them the same way all the time. So much versatility!! I've been Blessed to have heard such a voice, and continue to be Blessed through his music, whether in my car singing along, or on KZread!! I think Mike Bowling also can do well singing Kenny's songs, as well as some of the other Hinson family members (his son and nephews)!! Would love to hear them continue on with Kenny's style! It's worth continuing!!! The Very Best singers sing from there heart for God, that's where the real blessings come from.I think Kenny sang from his heart for God!!! Forever grateful to have heard him!!! He's my Brother in Christ!
