Yeah the fact that some of them couldn’t sew goes to show how the planning for the show was. Not very thought out at all I’m sure. That’s insane.

I really like this new format. This seems like a difficult topic to cover because of how subjective Streetwear is, and you come across as very critical but also very fair when you talk about the show quality and the designs. Really enjoyed your long form content. I think you work really well in this format.

I've been conflicted in which direction to take my channel / what to post.. and I've been leaning towards making longer, more meaningful videos as opposed to shorter slop, so your comment is assuring to me. IMO, anyone can start being a designer at any skill level (knowing how to sew, design patterns, drape, etc improve ur craft) but frankly, like u point out, if the show did anything it illustrates the you can literally have no clue and sell clothing - and that’s a good and bad thing. Talented people can bring their skills from outside this medium and collaborate with people who know the fundamentals…or u can have no talent and hire people. The show does seem kinda cringe still.

Nightmare..

Me and the other classmates who were part of the street work horse for a Parsons School design and complex was watching this show and it was definitely a learning experience I mainly watch it so I can learn a bit more about fashion and skill levels i'll admit some of the times in there it was pretty fucking cringy but it was actually nice to see people at the culture actually being on the show and fun fact about Kai he actually was that complex con at one point back in 2016 so it wouldn't be fair in the first place for him to be on there if that makes sense. Thanks for making the video on this as I didn't see anybody else really get to review this you always seem to talk about topics in fashion and about fashion that makes it super interesting to learn and have Insight from. Hope to see more from you soon.
