Idk they just hate them because they are afraid Idle will surpass their favs. Yeah the more popular a group is the more the haters with various reasons.

because their fav group cant do what Gidle did in their music and keep doing the same sh*t .. Gidle always being real...and they talk about the real things in the lyric but the haters love their idols acting like AI robots and do whatever their company want...they live in fantasy land..... for me , when Gidle performing, u can feel the soul ,because they are self produced group and writing their own songs

When groups become too popular it’s like a signal for the hate train…. It’s childish and appalling.

Successful groups always gets a lot of hates especially girl groups... groups like ive and (g)i-dle who came from other label than the big 4 gets a lot of hates... bts before also experienced a lot of hates until they have their break and become one of the biggest artist in the world... people keep dragging (g)i-dle down because they are doing something that other groups haven't done yet or are afraid to do... I just hope (g)i-dle will keep on achieving greater heights and prove those haters that they are not the group to be messing with... I just hope they broke more records and keep getting stronger... and I also hope they will still be a group even if they leave cube... I still want to see (g)i-dle together for more years to come...

Don't worry, they are so popular in Korea now. Lots of Koreans love them. In this generation, there are five idol groups in Korea that the popularity goes far beyond all the other groups (including boy group). They are New Jeans, Ive, (G)i-dle, Aespa and Lesserafim. They are called "The five kings".

Also doing henna is not cultural appropriation as many cultures uses henna. We have people from North Africa to South Asia who have henna as a culture. I think even Thai people use henna and Minnie is Thai, but not so sure about this.

I didn't like this cb title track (SL) for the first time ever in my 5 years stanning them, but I do like your video, TQ. Well, now we have Revenge MV, which I prefer, but it has a YT age restriction on it so it won't be so popularly seen... does that mean less hate & nonsense for Revenge? You got it wrong on the Lion part, it was not because of the "only lion in africa" its because of what soyeon said in the behind the scenes of making the Lion song. They really dont deserve hate tho, everytime they do something its always a problem to some. I'm just happy that they've grown so much and keep doing so.

I love G-idle and the message they put out there, but I really hope someone corrects the grammar in their songs. I wish their company would invest in a tutor or something. The pronunciation, I can understand, but the grammar should at least be correct. Imagine if foreign singers make songs in Korean but the grammar is wrong, I reckon it wouldn't be received well. English, like all languages, should be used correctly. And no, before anyone bashes me, I am not from an English-speaking country. I am, however, a teacher, so the grammar irks me. A lot of them do not make sense, ans is just cringey. I still listen to them, though lol. But I think it'll be easier to sell and listen to their music if the lyrics are grammatically sound.

I didn't start listening to Gidle until last year around Tomboy era. I don't hate or stan them. But as a newbie listener, I'd say all their newer songs including Tomboy are pretty abrasive to my ears. Their older songs, like OMG and Hwaa are insanely beautiful, though. I'd be a big fan if the quality of their music was consistent. They're trying too hard to be edgy in a culture that is conservative. Of course, they would be met with resistance. For me, I just think all their new songs are annoying.

That’s a weird take considering their albums are filled with songs that are just as good as Hwaa and etc You mean their title tracks? They’re not stuck on one style or genre and they’re exploring their sound with each comeback and it’s weird people find that annoying. @lu9175 , it's not their concepts that I don't like. It's that their songs sound like they were produced by 13 year olds, generic and poppy. Maybe it's the western sound that they keep trying to replicate that I'm not a fan of. Whatever meaning they're trying to convey is lost when their songs sound so juvenile. I'm glad to hear their b-sides are like Hwaa and OMG.

@@kaxiong2174 but the contents of the albums have been consistently great, from a production perspective alone. The title tracks are very Surfacy Pop, yet have a lot of underlying context+commentary. Its interesting to me when people mention the change in the group title direction, they lost a member, many groups cant succeed after things like that, yet they came back and did they upped the whole comeback game.
