Tarantino is like a walking encyclopaedia. It's so nice to see a man who absolutely loves what he does and isn't afraid to show it.
Hehe I was the girl at the end that had her mic turned off. So much fun talking to Quentin :) He's such a nice guy.

Tarantino will never be out of touch. He is the best writer Hollywood has. His stories are completely unique and engaging. The Hateful Eight was amazing and the cast was stunning. Groggins was hilarious in his performance and Leigh was utterly convincing. The whole cast was just superb. I hope Tarantino makes 10 more films it will be a sad day when his voice is silenced in cinema.

I think he's too good at looking at life and it's intricate branches, to lose touch. David Chase wrote Sopranos when he was ancient, and that wasnt just "in touch", it pretty much changed TV drama FOREVER, is still unsurpassed, and didn't just gel with modern audiences, it changed culture itself. Tarantino is another Chase.
Great to have Tim Roth back in a Tarantino movie! Missed seeing him in QT's world, he fits so well into it and he was great in Hateful Eight.
Bruce Dern's speech about Quentin was wonderful. Wish he had more time to talk. 😃
Anyone else thought Michael Madsen wanted to punch Hardwick in the face when he said "Bueler"? lol
@dumpz531

***** I don't know why I'm surprised but he is intimidating in real life
Hardwicke's "Bueller" was rude before Bruce Dern' started talking. Michael Madsen seems to think so too.

I would love to see a Tarantino tv series. How awesome would that be? I really love good storytelling and a tv show is great for storytelling so I would love to see what he couldd do with that format.

This was one of the best panels I've seen this year. Quentin was very well spoken and very engaging to listen to. Can't wait for that original score by Ennio Morricone and of course the movie! Thanks so much for posting these. Will you guys be uploading the Women Who Kick Ass panel? Sorry I've asked a couple times but really looking forward to that one. Thanks!

cmurphylife Glad you enjoyed it so much - I did too! :-) Can't wait to see the finished film with that score! Great to hear you're loving our videos! :-) We've literally just uploaded the Women Who Kick Ass panel! Here it is: kzread.info/dash/bejne/fH6qm8ufqrnOXbg.html Enjoy! :-)
Lol..finally came to Bruce Dern, 25 mins in, and what he asks is "how do you fit into all this ?"
That last announcement was perfect to end off the panel. Morricone's scores have been used in most of Tarantino's work, but I can't wait to see what he does with new material.
Madsen was about to bring the Daud out of him when Chris said the "Bueller" shit lol
As a huge QT fan who couldn't make it to Comic Con, thank you so much for posting this. You made my week! (^_^)

@dennisreynolds1341
9 жыл бұрын
Andre Moore Oh NOOOO! How could I possibly have called a Tarantino film "shit", lord have mercy! Oh wait, it was shit. Just because Tarantino's name is on it doesn't give it any special treatment. If that film had another directors name tagged to it replacing Quentin's but was the exact same film ... it wouldn't have relieved as much praise. Django was a terrible fucking movie, but I loved Inglorious Basterds, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill vol. 1 & 2. Reservoir Dogs. Death Proof. Basically all of his films except for Django. Now. The Hateful Eight looks like it's going to be a fantastic movie, more than what Django will ever be and I don't give a fuck about popular opinion. The Hateful Eight has a great cast, (not Jaime Foxx), it has a SCORE finally and by Ennio Morricone too! Also looks to be a great plot and setting. Hopefully it's well paced. I also have no doubts on the cinematography.
@dennisreynolds1341
9 жыл бұрын
***** Sure, that's fair. I honestly can never be bothered writing out my reasons since it's KZread. I'll just give the basics. I thought the pacing was bad. There was a point when I thought the film would end but then it just kept going for another 30 minutes or more, dragging on. I think for the most part it was enjoyable but the dragging on, Jaime Foxx, I guess it got to me. Some scenes also felt unnecessary. I think most of it is people claiming it to be a masterpiece when it's clearly not. Like I've said, if another director had directed it but every bit of it was exactly the same, it wouldn't have received much praise. It's just Quentin's name, that's all I think it is. Regardless of Django, I think The Hateful Eight is something I am going to enjoy and call a masterpiece, in the end. A true score done by Ennio Morricone. A great cast of actors. An interesting story and setting. Plus shooting on 70mm I mean, fuck yeah.
Best panel. Its always great to hear actors and directors speak about their movies who don't need to make a joke every 2 seconds but actually have experience and something interesting, sometimes inspirational to share. Really a joy to watch, thanks for posting!
Thank you so much for these! I've been going through the most of the videos watching them, and it's always a treat to get to see Mr. Tarantino speak. Such an exciting filmmaker.
People who ask why "Demian Bichir" should watch "The bridge", after one episode they will get it. He is a phenomenal actor.

+roloug95 I'm afraid I cannot do that, Dave.
JJL is the only actress to work with Altman,Coen Brothers, Kubrick and now Tarantiono so if ya dont know why she has the acting chops to be in the movie and why she was chosen just ask some of the best directors in the past 20 years
I had no desire to see Tarantino's leaked script. All you're doing is ruining the film for yourself. It's quite fitting this movie is coming out on Christmas. Some people cheat and try to find out what their gifts are before Christmas morning ruining the surprise. I think the anticipation is part of the fun. I can't wait to see this movie.
As much as I love Quentin, his thing about Television in Public is god damn ridiculous! I completely understand the appeal of shooting film and I understand the appeal of film projection... but to say that digital projection is a straight up waste of time and is like watching HBO in public is just pure pointless nostalgia. I'm still watching the same freaking movie after all. And last time I watched Django Unchained, in digital, it was still as good. I don't understand how someone like Quentin, who understands the power of writing, of character, etc., can still think that such a vain thing matter...
The Ennio Morricone news gave me chills.
How is that Kurt Russel looks sooo good and young here?
Thank You very much for this panel!
Opening scene in Inglorious Basterds was amazing. Waltz and Tarantino's writing combined for something amazing. Arguably the best scene of the entire movie..
@BlackDiamond2718

Pulp Fiction was stylish and exciting. Inglorious Bastards went from hearing your heart beat to feeling your eardrums.
I remember going to this panel in 2015! At the time, I unfortunately wasn't as much of a Tarantino fan as I am now, so the awesomeness was a little lost on me, but I did get some great pics. So cool looking back on the panel.
thanks! Would you upload the Vikings Panel?
The same lenses that were used to film Ben Hur! Holy crap
Kurt Russell's laugh is music to my ears
I absolutely love this! However I feel bad for a lot of the actors who only got like one question asked and all the questions directed toward Quentin. Chris Hardwicke is an amazing moderator on how he handled that. Big Props to him!

Hardwick didnt know Walton Goggins was in Django?
@onlytymewilltell
5 жыл бұрын
Crazy huh?? Walton goggins has the talent to make EVERY character he plays UNforgettable! Unfortunately I didn't know of him until django but as soon as he showed up in the hateful eight I KNEW it was him! I really hope to see him star in many MORE movies in the future. And the SAME goes for Christoph Waltz! Also THANKS to Tarantino, Jennifer Jason Leigh, FINALLY got the nod she's always deserved bc she's been around for years but never got great roles like daisy UNTIL NOW. She even said herself she was about to end her acting career bc of it. She's a testament to " NEVER giving up bc you NEVER know what's right around the corner for you!! " 😉
These actors take me back to great memories over my lifetime. I actually got emotional watching this.
What a cast.. what a movie 🍿
Whoa, Michael Madsen...his voice was shocking.
Fucking legend! Dude's a genius!
Kurt Russell should have played Duke Nukem. I'll keep saying this forever.
Tarantino is a genius filmmaker and always a fascinating interview. But sadly another panel ruined by the ubiquitous incarnation of vapidity, Chris Hardwick (the Ryan Seacrest of geekdom). Surely they could find someone of substance to host such panels.
22:26 it’s interesting that he mentioned the emoji movie when that wouldn’t even be a movie until 2017 🤔👀
You just do what quentin tells you! Quentin: "put your feet up there, yeah just like that" lmao

I wish there were a lot more cinemas that were showing it in 70MM, there are none where I live.
When will the 100 panel be released???
Mad mad mad mad world was my favorite movie all my life til the Burbs. I recognize now that he said those lens were used in that movie. Brilliant. You can tell the difference. It made the stage coach and horses scenes in the snow some of the best scenes in film history
I'll listen Morricone in september and i can't wait to listen the new score from the hateful eight!
High key he should've added the anime sequence for the flashbacks after hearing the girl talk about it.

11:18 "or they're dead. We don't know, we don't know".....What the fucking hell?!
too short!
0:34 coke is soo dead unless youre Quentin
The only thing I didnt like about the 70mm was the fact that it took away some of the confined feeling of the cabin. I think he deserves his place among Kubrick and Hitchcock.
HEY KURT RUSSELL!!!........ that was hilarious
I love how his actors are not aloud to bring their phones on set, it’s his one absolute rule if you work for him as a actor or actress.
glad to watch the panel without hearing people talk behind the camera this was the most entertaining panel
Walton Goggins performance in Justified is one of the best of all time in a TV series! He deserved an Oscar n Emmy every episode! He was Justified! 😳❤️
my god, all that final part of the panel, That's how you make a panel!
Post the mtv scream panel dude!!
70mm in Reservoir Dogs, makes every scenes look bloody visceral..
Dis he really not introduce Jennifer Jason Leigh?! WTF??? She CRUSHED that role. And where is Sam Jackson?

Good last question
I'm sure they weren't allowed to film at the time of the footage, but does anyone know if its online?
Madsen: No, no Cannes, Comic Con Dern: Well, bring me a Star Wars fan to hit him in the face then
24:32 Not only did I forget Bruce Dern was on the panel(wait for it...)I forgot he was alive. #BAM #COMEDY #LuvYaBruce
Why were they only given less than half an hour? Should've gave them at least an hour and give more fans the chance to ask questions.
Quentin is bringing back Mr. Yellow. Sweet.
The young lady in the Kill Bill jacket...too cool for school !
What an awesome panel! I cannot wait till QTs next movie!
I enjoy how he sounds like a young teen because of his energy and tone.
This film ROCKED! It was just raw enough to make me realize how anti Hollywood Tarantino really is.Kind or reminded me of the feeling I got from watching Altman's 70's flicks or Cassevetes 70's flicks as far as their renegade approach to film making. Total commitment to one's vision. That is what makes Tarantino- what he is.
How can you do a "Kill Bill" Vol. 3....when Bill is dead?

Mannix guy did a very fantastic job.....
where are those 7 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought Bruce Derne was dead lol...So glad he isn't though...Loved him in Silent Running...Seriously folks, watch that movie. It's an oldie but goldy.
I would of ask Kurt Russel or Micheal Madison to quote a movie scene. I think that would've be awesome to hear.
Yessss!!! Now I just need the kevin smith panel
Can't wait for this one.
Does no one else find it odd how the host is starting the interview without the other panelists? What is up with the interviewer?
