The Harlix! Ep 4- Sheet Metal Fabrication! Fabbing Seat Trim and Fairing Mounts on the Honda Helix
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
In this episode of Red Dirt Rodz, Jefferson shows you how to use some sheet metal fabrication tools to create custom formed sheet metal. Using a shrinker/stretcher, he makes a form for the front seat cover trim panel, custs and shapes some 20-ga sheet metal for the cover, and then welds it up.
He also shows you how to fabricate some mounting brackets for the fiberglass fairing on the handlebars, adding support gussets and a brace for the original Helix gauge cluster, which we have decided to reuse.

Where is episode 5?
This is amazing. Are you going to do any performance mods? I haven't found many videos on that yet.

We plan on a custom exhaust, not sure on the performance mods yet. Will be lowering it, i have a perf carb kit for a 250 Big Ruckus, maybe we do a vid on that! What kind of performance mods do you want to see?

@@Reddirtrodz oh no clue as of right now. I always try to upgrade parts as they need replacing and so far I haven't seen too many custom exhaust/gearing/DIY performance videos for this and your vid style would be perfect for that if y'all go that route!
How is the bike coming along?
