This game is great and clever. One of my daughter's favorites. You guys should have redone the track in between to randomize the water spaces. Makes playing lamb cards more strategic.
This was fun! Kudos to Dave, I've never seen anyone explain rules as clearly as him. I'm just terrible at that, I could confuse you if I tried to explain how to play snakes and ladders.
This is my favorite of the Tales and Games series. Very fun
OMG, you are sitting in different seats. Can't cope... Love the series.
You guys rock, I've seen many of your videos and wanted to say hi. I've had this and Camel Up preordered for some time so I look forward to playing them! Thanks for all your hard work putting these videos together.
Weird that the Fox has no special power like the rest of them, he just moves regularly. I would expect some kind of trickery or tomfoolery from the conniving Fox.
"bake em' away toys" clever, & punny
Looks like a fun race game :D
Love Aaron a lot!
Tortoise and Turtle are not interchangeable Dave. Try dropping a Tortoise in a fish tank, you'll see what I mean.
If you multiply the [number of spaces moved] x [number of possible cards played (0,1,2,3,4)], for each of the 5 animals, add the results all up and then multiply the results by the [number of cards of each animal in the deck], just to gain a rough idea of which animal has an advantage in their movement opportunities, we get Hare=360, Tortoise=238, Wolf=336, Fox=450, Lamb=600. Of course this doesn't take into account the 3 special effects of the Hare sleeping when he's in 1st place; the Wolf's howling preventing any of the other animals from moving; and the Lamb's move being halted by water. Just by looking at a table of the numbers it's pretty obvious that, everything else being equal, the Lamb has a significant advantage. I understand that the players manipulate the movement of the animals in the way that they play their cards, and therein lies the game's strategy, but I still believe that the game is not correctly balanced, i.e. there should be less than 15 Lamb (and Fox) cards in the deck. I'd be interested to hear (not hare!) from anybody who's played it several times as to which animals have outperformed the others, and whether an obvious bias exists..
Great video guys
I wish there was a sixth animal like a bull that gets raged and knocks the other animals back depending on their weight like the sheep would go father than the wolf
Looks like a great game! Unfortunately, almost impossible to buy anywhere nowadays.

I hear you mate. I started hunting this game immediately after watching this video for the first time, about a year ago, and I finally got a copy a couple of days ago. It isn't complete, the Turbo Tokens, the small discs Dave explains at the end of this video and are used in the children's version, are missing, along with one of the little pieces of cardboard used to keep the Finish Line standing upright. However, I'm happy enough, I can cobble together what's missing if I need to, and to just find a copy of this game is something of a victory, complete or not. Anyway, good luck with your search and I hope you're successful.
I LOVE Lincoln's shirt. If you still reply on these old vids, then Lincoln can you please tell me where you got it from? I would love to get one!
Cool - that Lamb is going Ham ;)
My wishlist is getting bigger and bigger, and I haven't even start buying any of the games I want 😣
The Hare shouldn't move when it has the lead - tied or outright.
The lamb should have been white , the fox red and the wolf grey .And the tortoise 🐢
Very similar to Camel Up!

Very different actually. CU is a betting game with a racing theme. This game is a racing game with a betting element. You have agency over the animals movement is this game.
First Comment. Does that make sense Dave? :p
Hey, tell Scott he needs to put viewing times on the web site somewhere, I will only watch long play games to see it thoroughly played and I have to click on every video to check the time. The times are listed on each video so I am not quite sure of the marketing ploy not putting them in you video list with everything else you publish but your still the greatest website ever for gamer's and thanks. The people that don't normally do long stuff I don't even click on.
Aaron - 5 animal cards...six card hand...it is impossible to not have a pair....liarliarliarpants!!!!!

Why? Can't he have 4 of a kind? :)
I have game on Kickstarter that I think you would be interested in. The game is called Spell Stealers: kck.st/1wktZ7G Spell Stealers is a press-your-luck dice game, racing game, and party game all rolled-up into one unique gaming experience that is fun for the whole family! It is for 2-6 players, ages 8+, and plays in about 20 minutes. Spell Stealers is being praised by critics for being incredibly fun, super-easy to learn and teach (even to younger players), and for its unique stealing gameplay mechanic that keeps every player actively involved in the game - even when it's not their turn. The Kickstarter campaign runs through November 23, 2014.
Thanks for the show as usual, but the game is too basic for me to want to play and it makes it harder to watch but it's you guys, I think i'd watch you guys grow grass...thanks
