You can very very technically get this as soon as you can obtain the RoD, making it only a hard mode weapon. Though this is in the same vein as "Yharon is technically a pre moonlord boss"

What void dragon does way less damage

The Boss Rush meter being at 99.8% before you fought Supreme Calamitas is like the last 1% on a loading bar that takes 3 hours

Alt title: using a fish to beat a rock into submission

They should actually implement a credits sequence for calamity where the pictures appear similar to how it does for normal terraria but using pictures of rocks instead

Honestly the thing was so good it was almost bad, it was causing frame drops when things would get especially intense during my boss rush lol

I remember when any mob could drop it and my buddy got it pre wall of flesh, even though the thing progressively upgraded itself it was just stupidly op and when used with chlor bullets bringing the whole server to lag

Yea, plus it takes just 2 seconds, to heal 1/3 of your total HP... This thing is literally a second potion

IMO, best way to shred the boss rush is with the flamesteel ring ( full beam mode), ares arms ( i forgot the name ) and a scarlet devil in main hand. ( It easily reaches 1 million dps )

Staff of Blushie also works wonders, although because it takes a long time for it to wind up and build damage, it's a good idea to do it in multiplayer. One player keeps the aggro while the other builds Staff of Blushie damage to melt bosses.

Quick question, when I do calamity in 1.4 and use a permanent upgrade like a blood orange, my hp doesn’t change color, how did you change yours?

Make sure to have hp style to classic, if it still doesn't work then it's probably bugged. I guess you could try to reinstall calamity then. Try to ask in the Calamity discord, someone there might know something.

All the earlier bosses in bossrush have extreme amounts of health because you're supposed to have the most powerful items in the game when doing this event.

@@Blightbox unreal halibut cannon god slayer slugs, shattered the community, celestial tracers , Dimensional soul artifact, Asgardian aegis, Affliction, elemental quiver, Recon scope. All reforged to lucky. Maxing out at 40k dps single target on super dummy with both demonshade and auric Tesla armour.

I tried it and got around 120k with demonshade without the active and 250k with it. Crit goes over 100% with this build so you could remove lucky and switch to menacing on a few items (if you're using crit buffs from potions). i have no idea why u would only get 40k dps.

@@Blightbox Weird.. i only have 97% crit on the halibut cannon with everything on lucky. I have all the combat potions on too so i have no idea. I wish i could like show u that im not capping but i have seriously 0 clue why my dps is nowheresville. It felt like that the whole time throughout my ranger playthrough where my buddy who was playing mage was doing 3x my dps even with mana sickness.

Bloodfire bullets have slightly higher dmg on single targets but God Slayer Slugs are better in most situations because they pierce infinitely.

Imo ranger is the weakest class in calamity. I played all classes on rev and had no problems with bosses except for ranger. Also when i did boss rush, ranger just took a hell of a lot of time to kill something but everything else literally shreds the bosses

Dodging is mostly inefficient because you're not utilizing the Demonshade contact dmg.

try loading an earlier backup, unfortunately this happens a lot when playing modded and you may lose some progress but its better than losing your entire world
