In real life as soon as you saw that fucking belt fed weapon you would have hit the floor so damn quick, rather than take just another second to display to the people trying to shoot you that you don't approve of what they are doing. It is funny but not something you want to do or you might not want anything ever again.

To clarify, your brain cannot process all that information coming in by milliseconds so training is supposed to make up for that. Training kind of fills in all the gaps to help you fight better is the best way I can put it

I was a soldier but never fired in anger but it was silly stuff like we were on a break an just bouncing one of them softball sized bouncy balls an I wasn't even involved in the game an the ball bounced of a wall real close wizzed past my ear an before I even realised I'd done it my left hand was up behind me an just caught this ball 6 inch from a female I was trying to bangs nose , I mean obviously its a completely different situation but my brain reacted a second before me, the training certainly quickens up our reflexes. But yep when the big boy auto comes out my only thought would have been "drop" my second would have been ok im defo dead now😆

I love these type of villains in these type of movies. Fearless, manipulative, 3rd dimension character arcs, and most of all... Badass!
2:00 Doesn't matter how you view this movie. This is dark comedy at its best in this one part. Also his face of " Come on..."

Well closer to the floor level you got more material bordering the wall like pipes, beams, electrical wiring and all that though aiming at the ground would just make bullets ricochet upwards or going into the basement lol.

Roger Scott Cathey fuck the walls and the bed! He was shot twice, in the right leg 0:55 , after it, he was able to stand up on it 1:53 , and in his stomach 2:31 ! and after it, he escaped! he is a superhero

Well, i dont know how to tell you all this...this isnt real. Its fake, theyre not real guns and they're just actors. Which does mean the bullets arent real too, Sorry to tell you.
You gotta love all these ''tacticool experts'' who watch too much Garand Thump and criticise an action-horror movie, that is a hommage to 80's action & horror movies and is about a failed super-soldier who goes rogue, because ''muh realism''. The main character is literally like a more psychotic version of the Winter Soldier, minus the metal arm.

It genuinely upsets me. This is an outstanding movie given its low budget and these keyboard warriors clearly don't understand its just a movie and that not everything involving guns needs to be ultra-realistic. The amount of people here that unironically criticize how unrealistic the special forces team operate and the bullet effects is pretty pathetic.

Are Army Special Forces soldiers not soldiers just because they are Special Forces? Are Air Force Combat Controllers not considered airmen just because they are Combat Controllers? Please check your logic before trying to appear like an expert when it wasn't warranted.

I wish I saw this movie in the cinema when it was released.
There are those who can see Luke as a rat, but what if he said all this to confirm a theory, if Kristen were to die, he would confirm that David did indeed do everything he and Luke just talked about. This movie is all on interpretation, and thats what makes it awesome, it lets the movie be what you want it to be.

Ross Egan ..... I’m guessing , the “program” people, were going to hurt / kill the family. Or he had to do it out of protection. They knew to much. Had cover his tracks. ( just like their son David would do to another family)

Saying sorry doesn't make it right. I have no sympathy for him. He had no need to involve any of these innocent people knowing he would have to kill them. When the kid stabs him In the end i would've stabbed him a 3rd time n then picked the pistol up "dont worry David. I dont feel bad." Then shoot that fucker twice in the chest and once in the head. They shouldve killed him in the labs after they programmed him. N like he shouldve gotten revenge on the programmers n shit seeing as he has full knowledge of everything going on and is coherant/ aware. Use the skills against them. Instead he kills innocent people. If ppl root for him that just shows how sad my generation is. No morals or values.

Zachary Jackson .... I think he went rouge / AWOL. what ever program he was in obviously was a government program to make killers ( probably brain washing to not care about human killing ) so it turned a few marbles loose in his brain. he was stuck in between 2 realities.

I thought it was common knowledge, even for henchmen, that in a fire team, some shoot, the others hold back till the shooters have to reload, then the team shifts a.s.o. to keep up the fire? all of them emptying their mags at the same time would cost the whole team a all nights run at any military base.

I thought it was common knowledge that a movie is a movie, not real life. Maybe stop watching so much Garand Thumb and taking everything involving guns and military in fiction so seriously? This movie never claimed to be realistic. It's very clearly a homage to 80s action movies. Real experts (such as special operations guys) don't criticize movies like this nearly as much as you do anyway, because they understand its fiction. Chill.

Lil Bandage David (blonde headed guy) is ex-military. He was in a program with the son of the lady in the kitchen that programmed him to kill and leave no witnesses, practically make him a mindless soldier. He was presumed dead, showed up to their house and pretended to have just gotten out. The government wants him dead because he dangerous and he was in a secret program.

David was programmed like a machine. He feels no emotion or sympathy or even remorse he acts on instinct or impulse. You can see him trying to feel something but he can’t because all his feelings and emotions have been completely stripped from him. This is the first movie I have ever seen where the main character is the Hero & the Villain at the same time.
You're gonna tell me they have all of these fancy guns, but no flash bangs nor grenades...?

Agent Soshi nah, none of those bullets wouldn’t make it through 3 layers of walls. A actual swat unit or anyone with a gun and some common sense wouldn’t spray their mags down at a house like that knowing the person getting shot st has a arisen of guns too. Those look like concrete walls and I’m pretty certain the bullets wouldn’t exit the interior walls in a straight line too, so In theory if it was a wooden house the bullets woulda 100% shredded the shit out of that place and killed them both

The sound of a Full Auto is so relaxing
if the guy at 1:46 was holding one of the rifles they had at the start then he would have killed the guy under the bed.
this movie makes you wonder if he's a good guy or a bad guy. I mean it's just really hard to tell even though he's killed some good people, but the Military program he and Caleb were in was probably something more than we think or know. the military mercenaries in this scene was probably killing others that were in the same program and David was probably one of the last remaining military supersoldiers that was in the program. I know because on one scene were the military and the major has stated the subject. that makes you wonder a lot about this whole situation about David, not only he's killed people but because he and Caleb was in some sort of special military program.
