@mizurilyAt what point did I say that only the U.K. was supplying Israel with weapons? The original post said incorrectly, that the U.K. had no say in what is happening in Gaza. There was nothing indirect about the U.K. supplying arms to to the Taliban, it was very direct. The U.K. is also proving arms to the Saudis so thar they can continue to bomb the crap out of Yemen, too. How is it a tool to implement Shariah law? Your comment makes no sense whatsoever. The point is that the U.K. is playing an active role in facilitating one of the biggest programmes of genocidal ethnic cleansing since WWII and some people, such as yourself, are clearly okay with that. And yes, if you look at the events in Afghanistan immediately after the U.K. and U.S. invasion up until the last couple of years, then yes, they did have a part to play in the current political/ economic situation there.

Dead easy just requires the oath of allegiance to the king holding a Bible and if you're unable then you cannot serve. People need to educate themselves about the problem Islamic ideology, political Islam causes in any country where it is allowed to grow. I'm 60 and will be long gone by the time civil war, civil unrest hreaks out. Islam, not the individuals, is in conflict with different sects eg Sunni or Shia among itself and it is unable to coexist with anyone else unless you're willing to be subjugated to that ideology in the political, social and cultural discourse. You don't have to take my word for it just some basic online research will tell how religious, sexual, political minorities are actively discriminated against, women in particular but you don't hear the left talk about the misogyny in Muslim societies.

Or let them lie ('taqqiya) with the hand on the Bible, then go after them because they will make mistakes that are against what is in the Bible along the way. Reform party will need education on Islam and a spiritual Christian to teach them, analyse and advice.

You have to be “ Christian” to have decent values.

It actually concerned me to see independent candidates “for Gaza” standing for election. All parties undoubtedly have opinions and even (possibly) plans on how to work around the situation in Gaza but this IS Britain, isn’t it? Surely the “brief” for any politician is to represent the who nation - not just one specific religious community. Let’s be blunt here, are there politicians “for the UK” in Gaza? Of course not! The UK is one of the most inclusive countries, allowing people of diverse faiths and beliefs to live here but - BUT - any/everyone who resides in the UK ARE, nominally British. Freedom of speech and opinion is fine (and actively encouraged here in the UK) but, as terrible as the Gaza situation undoubtedly IS, it has no place in an electoral situation.

Should all the Polish,Hungarians and others who are now in this country living as British citizens start a political party about Eastern European matters? Or should we have those of French, Italian, German, Spanish, Australian and Republic of Ireland origin etc starting their own parties to to represent those other countries. We no longer have an Empire and handed over 'Palestine' as specified by the UN and its predecessor to the Israelis. What happens there is nothing to do with us. We do however have some skin in the game when it comes to acts of agression and terror on the streets in the UK. Those from the 'religion of peace' need to get their own house in order in this country or the inevitable push back will affect them all.
