See, that is my entire problem with left wing politics. They say they are for the common man and woman in the street and making sure everyone gets a fair shake in life but, they focus speciically on things don't affect the common man and woman and their livlihood. How does trans rright helping the livlihoods of ordinary British people. How is pandering to third world criminals and increasing migration helping the economy for the average brit? It doesn't.

Indeed, the idea of having 'citizen's assemblies' that by-pass Parliament is a precise parallel to what Trotskyists advocate (Trotskyists advocate 'workers' councils. The difference is that the Greens, being middle-class, have removed the awkward class reference).

My neighbour and landlord voted green the other day. He doesn't drive anymore due to an eye condition. Probably the best neighbour I've ever had, him and his wife. But, I do believe he's taken the BBC and this 'climate change' to much to heart. He didn't used to be that way untl climate change became one of the 'big things'. However, on the other side of me is some guy in his early or mid twenties, maybe older. He's the kind that has a 23 year old body but a 39 year old face. He's into all of these ev's and whatnot, he can't talk, but barks. Pretty sure he's voting green. So yeah, there are a lotof kooks and downright violent peole associated with that party and it has earned its reputation. I just wish my landlord hadn't got caught up in it.

How to recognize propaganda: 1) When given a problem, fear rather than reason is used to present the solution. 2) When you're pressured into accepting the solution. 3) When you're not allowed to question the solution. 4) When the solution involves surrendering your freedoms. 5) When your eyes see one thing, but you are compelled to believe a different thing. 6) When the solution means giving small groups of people control over larger and larger things. 7) When dissenters are censored for refusing to accept the solution. 8) When dissenters are targeted by accusations from different sources, suddenly and all at once. You are not under government control. You are free too choose. You do not need to abide. You are free too act. You do not need to remain calm. You need too go wild. The government's have absolutely no power over you. You just think they do. They don't. You do not have too listen to them. You are free. Critically think about that. You are free.

His PhD thesis title is "Work to Rule: Rethinking Marx, Pashukanis and Law". He has restricted access to his thesis, which goes against the whole point of academia. The acquiescence of the university to this request shows how poor an institution it is. By comparison, his rhetoric makes Marx look like a centrist, and Jeremy Corbyn look like a strong friend of the Jewish people.

As a Physics graduate I've always been sceptical about heat pumps. They look like they're breaking the Second Law of Thermodynamics, or even making a sort of perpetual motion machine possible. (You use a heat pump to charge up a heat reservoir, then you use that reservoir to run a heat engine that powers the heat pump! Ought to work, right?) Of course, it doesn't. But as far as I can make out, there is only a narrow range of differences between inside and outside temperature where a heat pump makes sense. Go outside of that range, and you're either not saving money, or actively losing it. And for this you've bought an expensive and cranky piece of equipment, when you could just as easily have had a three bar electric fire...

Heat pumps works just fine in my country, Denmark. And I don’t think our weather is THAT different from the UK’s. It can be a bit expensive though. Many in my country got heat pumps when Putin turned off the gas. However, electricity got pretty damn expensive shortly after, and people with heatpumps were suddenly looking at electricity bills 4-5-6 times larger than their normal ones. Electricity prices are more normal now, but I literally remember Danes getting hest pumps installed only to turn them off the second they got a bill, and just bought indoor gas heaters!
