    Honest observation. How did we go from 8 in a round of 10 outs to 30 in a round of 10 outs less than 15 years later? Were the balls just juiced more by the turn of the century? Or the bats were made with cork in them? Really makes you wonder considering how powerful these guys were and only hit upwards of 10 or so.

    The Writer's Lens I'm fairly certain they started juicing the balls for the contest. I was pretty convinced when Bobby Abreu stepped and hit more HR's than any slugger ever in the mid 2000's...it was ridiculous.

    Yeah run of the mill power Bobby Abreu did better than Bonds Mcgwire Sosa and Griffey... gimme a break. That was in a giant stadium as well.
