Scott Barrett's tackle on McDermott is my favourite. A five point hit.

Smaller players like DuPont and Kolbe have learned to be almost perfect with their technique to make up for what they lack in pure size. Love it.

The frustrating thing with kolbe's defence especially if youre supporting the other team is that sometimes he's forgiven offsides cos he's known to be pacy. He flies up early alot in tackles and charge downs but doesn't get pinged. Ive found that with SA, if a ref lets them have that extra second they'll be a step early on every phase. It's brilliant tactics but when it's against you, you lose your voice callin for offsides.

@@irnbrunicorn That's not Kolbe, that's every self respecting player in every team. Notice in the Irish tackle / turnover against Scotland (DvdM) where James Lowe came from - never onside and still won the penalty. You do what you see the referee allowing.

That Owen Farrell tackle shows he knows exactly what he's doing. Should make a collection of Farrell when he decides to go for a proper tackle 😂

Cada vez que miro estos videos de tackles me motiva mucho a poder recuperarme de una lesion, me da esa sensación de que yo naci para jugar al rugby. Tuve una dislocacion de hombro, por tantos tackles que pegue.. eso me paso pq no estuve al 100% físicamente, no estaba bien alimentado y lo mismo jugaba. Gracias por subir estos videos!
