Music and nostalgia often go hand in hand, creating a powerful and emotional connection to the past. Music has the unique ability to transport us back in time, evoking vivid memories and emotions associated with specific moments, places, or people from our past.
When we hear a song that we haven't heard in years, it can trigger a flood of memories and transport us back to the time when we first heard it. The lyrics, melodies, and even the sound quality can awaken dormant emotions and bring back the sights, sounds, and feelings of a particular period in our lives.
The connection between music and nostalgia is deeply personal and subjective. Different songs hold different meanings for each individual, depending on their experiences and the associations they have formed. What might bring a sense of nostalgia to one person could be completely different for another.
Through music, we can reminisce, reflect, and find solace in the familiar. It has the power to comfort us, heal our wounds, and provide a sense of continuity in an ever-changing world. The timeless nature of music allows us to bridge the gap between the past and the present, creating a link that transcends time.

Amrinder gill true song
I was born in 1999.. My mom says I used to dance to the song "radha kaise na jale" from lagaan whenever it played on the TV..
When shubham gets excited, he talks so much 😂 it’s cute!! Rajesh and zyan are super patient and love the chemistry between these 3. Never stop making these and the longer the better
I think names of Atif Aslam , Mohit Chauhan and a special shoutout to Emraan Hashmi's movies are missing and also U guys can easily increase the length of each episodes for around an hour and half it would accepetable to audience as it is normal in podcast . and keep bringing such content ❤️

Himesh reshamiya can't be forgotten, he has an era, I fee
My first few songs were from Amithabh Bachchan movies back in 1983, songs from Mahaan, Kalia, Yaarana, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Lawaris, Desh Premi, Namak Halal etc when Amitabh Bachchan was injured and in our society ground people built a temporary temple to pray for his health and for full 2 weeks and I memorised Big B's all songs since childhood.
Honestly yr ye podcast kabhi band nai honi chahiye ❤️ Dher Sara pyaar humare Shubham, Rrajesh aur Zain Bhai ko 🥰

As an Amrinder gill fan since childhood, I am glad that he was mentioned in this podcast. Punjabi music industry, like other regional music industries in India, has so many hidden gems so my two cents after listening to this podcast are- Check out the song Leekan (from Ashke movie), such a beautiful romantic song by Amrinder gill. Also, usually people associate Garry Sandhu with fast music but do check out his song “Do Gallan” (if you understand Punjabi lyrics even a little bit, this song will get you teary eyed especially the video is just too good)
You guys just make us relive our memories, nostalgic, pure love, whole episode is relatable. Infact this Great Indian Podcast is relatable. please keep doing this forever ❤❤❤
Petition for bringing back soumya
Satinder Sartaaj and Amrinder gill is OGs of Punjabi music industry 🫶🏻
This was my 50 min of free therapy session trust me ! Eagerly waiting for next episode
Ajay Atul duo is the most underrated music director for Indian audience
To be honest nostalgia is always a source which everyone is selling but kudos to Shubham, Rajesh, Zain that they make not only about nostalgia but their chemistry is off the charts. And bakchodiya to bas pucho mat. Keep the episodes coming guys
Student life pe bhi aana chaiye podcast and summer vacation was the most fun video, thoroughly enjoyed it.

86 born here...the first song that I remembered was kabootar ja ja..from Maine pyar Kiya
At 20:32, Shubham was talking about late Md.Aziz and he is right, his voice is so painful and I am always stunned how he is so underrated like his songs are very popular but the singer has not got the due that he deserved and most of Anil Kapoor, Govinda and Sunny deol films were incomplete without Md. Aziz songs.
My First prayer memory was Itni Shakti hume dena Daata Man ka Vishwas kamzor hona.... & it was my fvrte prayer 🙏🏻

I loved this one!!! so soooo good
Loved this session, and definitely deserve a part 2 considering still many things to touch upon. Agree with Zain - Sonu Nigam >>> Arijit Arijit became untouchable after 16-17 since Atif stopped singing here, KK ,Mohit,Shan werent getting enough quality song anymore. Sonu Nigam has an existence since 90-91 all the way to a movie Khuda Hafiz with loads of variety in songs.
Shubham aap bhut knowledge rkhte ho but don't cut others while they are sharing views .... Just a positive feedback for better growth of your channel ... all the best for your journey

I am from Himachal and local singing is still very relevant here. Some financially incapable people skip djs bs ladies of village gather t0 sing all the days of marriage and its considered very important
Thankyou Rrajesh & Shubham for talking about Punjabi music & suggesting Punjabi movie Angrez
Loved the whole episode, very nostalgic, but liked for Amrinder Gill recommendation.
Mithoon also a good music composer and mohit chauhan also a good singer with magical voice.

best all time Music modern Day No Doubt in every genre Rockstar ❤
Rajesh won my heart by mentioning Amrinder gill.....i am stuck on his songs❤❤
Harbhajan maan, daler mehndi, atif aslam initial albums, jal band, adnan sami, chandani raatein all these songs and albums were pure bliss. I'm so happy you mentioned Amrinder gill in the end the one singer who didn't bend his lyrics and didn't follow the trend still going so strong with songs like akhar, supna and similarly satinder sartaj and garry sandhu for his slow songs and romantic numbers like do gallan, jaanu jaanu what are these singers my god.
I didn't anticipate there'd be so much to talk about music. But now it's requiring a Part II
Special mention to Yeh jawani hai deewani... All the songs were blockbuster... !! Till date best suited for weeding dances!..
Mammi ki favorite cassette se ek aur yaad aaya... Hardaul ki kahani... Aur ek vo gaana tha Ek doli chali ek arthi chali... Itne dukh bhare gaane with folk touch
You guys forgot Mohit Chauhan. He has given wonderful songs to the industry for ex Rockstar whole album.
Most underrated Music Directors in Bollywood - Contemporary Vishal Bharadwaj Sanjay Leela Bhansali Ram Sampath Shantanu Moitra Mithoon

I reallyy at first thought how will they make it funny on this topic but hats off..koi bhi subject ho fun humesha op

@Rrajeshyadav wanted to mention Pankaj udaas. I agree few of his songs were played at my house too. Na kajre ki dhhaar Chupke chupke sakhiyo se vo batein krna bhul gyi These were my favourites
8:50 Rajesh is talking about HAQUAKAT movie and song name "HO K MAJBOOR'. Its a movie that every should watch . One of the best movie that i had ever watched.
Fun episode guys! It was trip down memory lane. Just one thought though, why no female singers were mentioned apart from Neha Kakkar and Alisha Chinoy? Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sona Mohapatra, Kavita Seth, Shilpa Rao, Shalmali Kholgade, Japsinder Narula, Rekha Bharadwaj are only a few names that come to my mind but their contribution to Indian music is huge. Really missed a point on that.
I usually used to sing aa mara watan ka logoung in my school. And every body used to praise me for that. Walkman is an emotional at that time. We used to listen"Aa aasaman tou batada ek chaand mera kahi kho gaya ha ".❣️❣️🥰😍😍
