The Great Gatsby - Gatsby Revealed part 1 - the Great Party - behind the scenes HD
Фильм және анимация
If you only watch one of the extras on this disc, make it "Gatsby Revealed" in all its glory. A 5-part mini-series outlining the process of filming 5 of the biggest, most definitive moments in the movie: the parties, the high-speed car ride, Daisy and Gatsby's reuniting, the fight at The Plaza, and the discussion with Nick around the pool. It gives great insight into Baz Luhrman's vision for the film, and tells the story of why things did or did not quite work out as expected.

Tobey has the perfect voice for Nick
They did a remarkable job with the party scene, I think that's exactually what Fitzgerald pictured when he wrote that scene.

Eowyn of Rohan I had a thought about this, what if to them they're hearing 20's music, but we hear it as modern music because the director wanted us to feel like we were there and be able to relate to it easier.

+cellthefun What about people that want to be immersed in the era? The music ruins that.
Nick Caraway is the biggest third wheel in novel history.
Tobey has such an amazing way of expressing emotion through his voice and gazes! Elisabeth Debki is such an embodiment of Grace and beauty! And yes, this was the most luxurious, the most epicurean and artful party ever!
I love Gemma Ward...even just saying "I heard he killed a man once" she has such an intensity to her...I hope she lands more roles, she's an awesome actress.
this movie shouldve won for best costume design/makeup

it _did_ win many awards for costume design
Such meticulous research. Fantastic work by Baz and Catherine and crew and stellar casting of the characters
I wish the party scene was longer. It was so noisy and full of details.
Tobey plays such a great main character/the voice who is telling the story.even as he did in spiderman
terrific/....what a great project to be a apart of...🥂🥂🥂🍾
Amazing work!

Blue Rapsody, old sport ;)
The book is set in 1922; George Gershwin wrote 'Rhapsody in Blue' in 1924. Ding!

No
anyone else think Nick gives off a lot of bi energy.
I would really like to see this movie but the bad hip hop music ruined it for me! WTF? Use music that was actually played during the 1920s!

it was a creative decision. they needed it to feel more lively like a broadway film so jay z helped produce the music and many artists were asked to sing songs that were modern but had 1920's jazz influence.
