Thanks Graham. Yep about five weeks and probably another four until I'm back there.

I know you have a lack of space for displays at the shop, but I think the door on the center refrigerator would look good set up as a way to display magnets for sale. (Think old gears that have been shellacked and a magnet attached to the back)

That is a good idea Nick, but I'm a bit time poor at the moment - as well as space poor!

Thanks for the update Chris, looks like more good progress, it's nice when you get enough space cleared that you can start to group things for processing ! Too bad the wagon sale fell through, good luck with the new listing, excellent news that the large furniture items are going though ! I have a few of the old style garden riddles/sieves, useful things, I use a fine one to riddle the nails out of my wood ash ready to add it to my compost, they've got quite expensive here now for the vintage ones ! A bonfire is a great way to clear some space on a cooler day, you're right though some people just chuck anything on including plastics and cause nasty black smoke pollution, perhaps you cold drag one of your magnets through the ash pile to collect the nails ?

Thanks Andy. I don't think I'll worry about magnet cleaning the ash. Ross will probably dump the lot in an old dam he is planning to fill in and any metal will just rust away. Yeah, I don't like burning anything toxic!

Things are looking good, Chris. Geez, I'm glad I'm back up here in Queensland. However, it's been rather cold up here, too, at the moment. When (or if) the wind ever dies down, then it'll be better. 😊

Thanks Ross! Yeah, the frosty mornings have been rather fresh, but the days are pretty good. Yep - I've seen it's a little chilly up there too. You guys will have to put on a T-shirt & thongs to stay warm 🤣🤣

Being a huge winter fan it was lovely to see the misty weather. Shame no frost to look at though , please do better !😂 Good to see stuff going and the fire was great. Have the furry critters moved in now the place is empty ? Hopefully not. I’m wondering if it’s viable to have a sort of farm open day where people from nearby farms can come and see what’s available to be sold or given away? Or would that be a security issue? Hope your Mum is settling into her new house and is happy there.

Thanks Barb. Mum has settled in pretty well actually - but lots of unpacking as you can imagine! I think there have been a few mice in the farmhouse, but not too bad as it's probably too cold for them! I'll probably advertise a free garage sale locally in a couple more trips just to tidy up stuff 👍😊

A pity about the wagon, but the place is starting to look much more empty...
