Jackie was a legend, he put his heart, and soul into his singing. It is hard not to jump up, and not dance to his music. I have an old cassette tape of his I still play, the older generation will never forget him. As for how you tell stories, you do it like a pro, your kind, and truthful, and have heart, no matter what it is. You keep putting it out there, we'll keep watching.

Even Elvis Presley once said that he would not want to go on after Jackie Wilson if the chance arose! Jackie Wilson and Otis Redding where the type of performers that put so much into their performances that just watching them made you sweat that's how great they both were! And they both should be in the Rock and roll Hall of Fame which is a damn shame that they are not! 🙏😓 And it's also a shame that Otis didn't live to see his success grow into fruition cuz that man could kick it on stage just like Jackie Wilson did!!!!

Thank you for the thumbs up Ross! And I'm only 20 years old but I had cousins that were older than me and schooled me on Otis and Jackie and Wilson Pickett Earth wind & fire Miles Davis and I do like rock and roll and blues but these people that call themselves singers these days they would be blown off the stage by the likes of Otis Redding Jackie Wilson Pickett! The only thing they do nowadays is cut and paste a bar of music or Auto-Tune and all of a sudden they become Superstars without even putting in the work! But as far as I'm concerned like I said Otis Redding Jackie Wilson Solomon Burke Albert Collins, screw people like Justin Bieber and and some of these people that can't even sing in the shower! Like me some of these people that call themselves singers should maybe go out to a bar or sweaty club and pay their dues just like Jackie Otis and Wilson Pickett did! That's where you learn your craft! Old school that's the way to do it and you're almost guaranteed to have a long and fruitful career cuz I doubt that 30 or 40 years from now anybody's going to remember these clowns! 🎶🎸 They should KZread Otis Redding singing I've been loving you too long! Then call yourself a cigarette and a performer because they didn't need any fancy lights or dancers they just use raw talent and sweat!

The thing is Elvis loved everybody and helped alot of people when they experienced hard times in life, but alot of people used him, because of his kindness. There was alwsys something coming up with there life and sweet Elvis was always there to help them. They always had there hand out for more and more money. His momma, Gladys was a wonderful mother and very loving person she raised a beautiful son with a very kind heart. Elvis always missed his momma and identical twin brother, Jessie. Jessie passed away at birth. Elvis would talk to them alot about being with them in heaven.

He was before my time...wayyyy before my time but I think about him alot. Although his life was sad I found it interesting.. he don't get talked about enough. It's like he's a forgotten piece of art that's just frozen in time. I have never heard anyone in the media really speak his name but it irks my souls when I hear his music in various forms of entertainment..they didn't help him when he was in the hospital but they sure can play his music only when it benefits them. Thank you for making this video. Like I said Mr Wilson was wayyyyy before my time but I think about him alot..same for Mahalia Jackson (I just love her even though she was long before me) anyhoo a Jackie Wilson biopic is wayyyyy overdue RIP Jackie Wilson I think of you always! PS He absolutely poured all his emotions in that "Dogging Around" joint..one of my favorite songs ever in life

Jackie Wilson had a dynamic & unforgettable stage presence. He knocked the Christmas song recording "O' Holy Night" out of the ball park which is hard to sing. I'll never forget him.
