This is an episode of an obscure and forgotten game show The Grand Prix All Star Show. This show is the first game show I recall watching and unless others come forward with episodes, this is the only full one that exists. This week Jenilee Harrison, Jay Johnson, and David Cassidy pair up with teenage contestants at the Malibu Fun Center in Puente Hills, California to compete in three events including a race around the Grand Prix Track for the grand prize. Are you kidding?! That's me! I won! WOW. Just typed in Grand Prix All Star Show to see if it was on YT. Imagine my shock when the only one I see here is the one I appeared on with Jenilee Harrison! THANK YOU!!!!! We auditioned in Mel Brooks' home in the Hollywood Hills and Jay Johnson was kind enough to give me a ride home back to LA from City of Industry.

My pleasure Darin. I wish more episodes were available by other contestants but I'm glad you found my copy of your episodes. I'd like to know more behind the scenes information like how long did an episode take to shoot? It seemed to go from sunny to overcast by the last event. Also, did you keep in touch with your competitors?
wow 35 years ago and the woman who did the doors unlimited commercial was Kathy Craine who still works at WFMZ tv and also the voiceover for chips patrol was the late Sid Dougherty.
That's my childhood right there.

So did I. I worked at Showboat during this time. Got to meet Jack LaLane, Jeff Conaway from Taxi, Jerry Mathers from from Leave it to Beaver, and guitarist Craig Chaquico from the Jefferson Starship. Good memories.
Wish i could have been on this game show
I was a contestant on this show back in the day and my celebrity partner was Carl Lewis. I can't find the footage to save my life and so badly want to find it...Just putting it out there in case anyone knows how to do this.

Nuts, I was going to ask you if you have the tape of the episode. If you ever find the footage please let me know, I can convert it. Do you still have your trophy and shirt from the show?

I was also on the show with Stephanie-I was with Suzy Chapstick, and the other guest was Denise Miller from Archie Bunker's place. We owned one videotape in my home with this on it, and my dad accidently recoded over it with the opening ceremony of the 84 Olympics!!

Yes he did. Until I saw that though I thought this was the only game show he did.
