When you put the stickers on, it's really a brilliant way to test/fit putters and figure out which one is giving you the best results in terms of impact, start line, face angle, path, and speed control. Pretty slick for under $500 USD.

I've been using the first generation EXPUTT for several years now. It's better with the TV in front of you than a smart device to one side simply because that's how you put out on the real greens. I admire the updated software with better looking graphics and perhaps more variety of options. One very important feature you did not mention is that there are two distinct ways of using this product. One way is to use the screen to point to an initial line and then hit the put to the centre of the mat. The much more interesting way is to remove the selected initial line on the screen and simply put proportionally to the left or right of the centre line according to the break you see on the screen. The first method is a bit like a video game for the family. The second way is so close to the real world of putting that it really does help in green reading as well as pace control. I'm convinced the mat and the detector are the same in the new version as that in my existing version. Serious pity that there's no way to update the software/firmware in the device. Rather than verbal enthusiasm, more demonstration and examples of usage would have been useful to your subscribers and EXPUTT sales.

Had mine about 3 years now Mark. I don’t use the 9 hole challenge but the practice and analysis is brilliant for lag Putting, setting up 5 yard increments from 5-50 feet. It’s taken all the guess work out my lag putts. I generally leave my Stimp setting on 10. Picks up if you don’t hit Center face brilliantly.. wonderful gadget 👍

Morning Mark - fortunately I live near the UK stockists and asked if they did a demo. They invited me to come round and the demo was good - very good. Used your code no problem. This is addictive!! Had it 2 days and as the wife plays golf as well - I cant get on it. Already identified I have a massive issue leaving putts short over 20 feet. We have a friend who is disabled and he loved it. Very clever bit of kit, easy to setup.

Ok. Had this for about 6 weeks now and the improvement in my putting is being commented on by my mates. Had a 25ft putt to win the Winter League this week and holed it. Lot of money but I really enjoy using it. Only use the practice mode and set it to analysis most of the time just to see how my path and face are going. Really great tool. Love it.

Been using this for about 9 months and I love it, my son loves it and everybody who has seen it says the same , it has helped my putting go to another level, yeah a little pricey but well worth it, highly recommended. I connected to an epsom projector and wow it's brilliant.

Been using this for years and it is very helpful for a particular type of putter. The type of person who is good at putting to a specific distance. Complaints from users who didn’t like it all seemingly come from putters who like to see the hole and just hit to it. Hard for them to be visualize the distance when they can’t see it. I putt to distances, so this device has been incredible for me.

Is there a monthly or yearly fee? Do they seem to be keeping it updated often with new courses and etc?

Interesting Tech. We love seeing new things come out. Not quite as small as the MicroSim 2.0, which will hold its own against this device for $250 and Coming Soon. Hopefully we can get @Mark Crossfield Engaged to do a review of the SLX MicroSim 2.0 soon. MicroSim 2.0 will also be a great tool for chipping practice to work on replicating swings for approach shots and will be capable of using foam balls. Our apps ability to easily change the stimp/etc is a little behind the ExPutt Development, but big plans in 2024.

I got an ExPutt at Christmas. It has certainly helped my putting. Practice is enjoyable, especially in the winter in the UK.

For someone who spends all his money on golf kit (apologies to my kids) I had never heard of EXPutt. But from searching KZread it appears this has been around for years. Have they just released a new/better version? PS I am already thinking about cutting the 2024 family holiday to buy one 😂

I don’t have much money but be sure the moment I have some spare I will be buying this over new wedges (from 2012) or a new driver (2017)

Do you know if they plan to update the software with any sorts of drills etc similar to the Puttr system? I love the Practice/Analysis mode but I wish there was more ladder/drill functionality similar to Stack Putting etc.

I've got one of these. Its great, just go and buy one. Only negative is that pace putting is very hard if you can't visualise the distance easily.

I think getting a yardstick and figure out you backswing length for different distances can help. I think Bryson does something like this

Having a hard time choosing between this and the primeputt putting mat. Which one would you recommend better?

I bought one last year and the system is great. I did however have an accident which made the remote broken which makes the system unusable I emailed the support about buying a replacement, and this is where the system sucks, because they didn't even bother to respond So very disappointed in the support 😢 I still want to get it to work though so I am open to workarounds or anything

What about the measured stats between exputt and the quad? How did the start direction and face angle compare?

How do you aim on the exputt to match the hole location on the tv?

A big part of putting practice is to send it towards where you aim. How does that work? Do you aim on the screen and pick a line and then just try to sent the put straight on the mat?

what is that mysterious 'membership' bar on their website? When I click on it nothing happens. Is there a subscription service required or needed to have the 'real' fun? Or are they planning to do so? Important questions that should be answered

I use Blast Golf $150 US Dollars. I’m curious how different this is from Blast. Not interested in the games. Only the numbers from the stroke. These two aides look the same. Have you compared it to Blast? I’d buy it if it did something different from Blast. Thanks.

I had the same question. I use Blast Golf with my GC3, and with GSPro can practice putting on any course or condition. Blast gives great data points, including tempo and distance putter travels. Exputt seems like a good package thats easy to use but if you already have a simulator, Blast may give you more flexibility.

Still don't understand what separates this from using a nice LM in a sim.

This is really good for practice, the game part isn't great. All putts are from 30 to 50 ft on breaking greens. If that was someones starting distance I'd suggest they work on their approach play!! So with that element I don't feel I am practicing that realistically bit for start line, launch angle and distance control it is a good device. If they set the starting distances during the play 9 section to be more 10-20 ft and less 30-45 ft I think it would outstanding.

Are the golf course vlogs on a separate channel now? What happened to them?

Code doesn’t work. Seems nice but is overpriced, even with discount. There’s just not much to it materials-wise. You can buy a full gaming system for their price. It needs to be closer to $299.

I thought it was going to be about £1,000 to £2,000. The price is less than a driver these days. If you are serious about golf then it is worth it at that price.

I don’t understand why golf stuff like this is so over priced? It’s literally an Xbox connect with the software and the mat. At most this should run about $200 - $250 max
