"I bet there's just been change" Yup! For the last 15 or so issues Thor grew out his beard and started wearing the helmet again. I wish the figure came with a second head for that but those issues probably hadn't come out while they were developing it. But if you really want to get that look (because it is the best Thor look) you could probably kit bash something with other figures

Absolutely, this was probably my favorite review so far and one that he should continue to look to to improve upon. No other figure reviewer does it like David when David is being David which none of them can be like. When he is more like them, then it gets a little more boring, and when he is more silly and free, it is just great!

The rune on his outfit is the rune for Thor. And the Ravens are Huginn and Muninn.

Huginn and Muninn are the Ravens. They gather information around the world for Odin

I haven't read anything with this version of Thor but I have studied language in my time, including Old Norse, and the design on his chest very closely resembles the third letter in the Elder Futhark, 'Thurisaz' which makes a 'th' sound (THor) and the rune itself is associated with Thor. Whoever designed the costume did their research.

Just got mine, can't wait to review him, with the others I git at target, the sell at target was buy one marvel legends and get one 50% off. So I had some good pick ups, and I am not a big fan of marvel legends, but this was so awesome

There's something kind of Sinister about this Thor's design, if I didn't know the comic Galactus Herald storyline, I would totally call this a evil alternate Dimension Thor. That's why I'm okay with the solemn serious face. Kind of reminds me of X-Men apocalypse. I think I'm going to buy it that will be my head can, this will be my evil Thor

Ah yes.....the Controller wave.....my next conquest......figure by figure. Herald Thor looks badass.

I give David so much credit. He jumped into a very crowded field and quickly separated himself from the pack. He’s joined the list of reviewers that I will watch even if I only have a passing interest in the figure being reviewed, and I can still count those reviewers on one hand. The fact that he’s usually reviewing figures that I have much more than a passing interest in is just serendipitous.

I just managed to snag the Galactus Haslab here in Australian so im gonna have to grab this dude now.

I just picked this guy up at my local Burlington for 8$! A total steal for this figure, had to come see what Dave had to say about this godly fig⚡⚡

I bought it today. (Target, $22.99) Very nice. The hair could use a wash. I love that texture on the tunic. I'm not crazy about the way that the purple inside the cape ends short. All purple or no purple would be better, imo. (It looks like the paint on your figure's headband is a little off. Mine is dead on, fortunately.) now bring on Galactus!

4:45 yes, it's a Nordic Rune. It's called "Thurs" and so that symbol is pronounced like a "th" like how you'd say Thor's name or the word "thing". I think it's supposed to represent like some kind of entity of raw power or something. I'm no expert in Old Norse or in the Norse Gods so take what I said with a grain of salt

So I definitely thought out of all your reviews so far, this is one of the better ones for all the funny moments. The more funny moments, bursting out into song, jokes, silliness, hyper-ness, the better! Some of the other reviews were a little bit lacking comparatively in those features. I don't mind reviews or single figure discussions, but no matter what you're talking about or what the video is, as long as it is a condensed dose of humor and silliness in a nice short amount of time, then it delivers the medicine efficiently, particularly if it makes me laugh more than once, makes me smile, and doesn't waste any time getting to that and carrying it through that and ends relatively quickly too, only for another one to be available really soon for another quick dose that can be completed and give a sense of accomplishment at the end too. I liked the stuff falling around, the questioning of what to do with the crows, the references, so it was seemingly an improvement on some of the other reviews I've seen so far which seemed maybe a little too straightforward, earnest, and like other KZreadrs (freaking boring!). You can bring your style and brand of fun, candid, whatever pops into your head, Morph-style humor to any topic, whether salty or sweet, and it can be about games, movies, toys, food, exercise, life, literally anything, so long as it has natural bursting into songs, references, jokes, bloopers, dropping things, impressions, mockery, good or especially funny and true observations, physical humor happening naturally like dropping things or having problems with accessories or issues with the seat arms or hitting the microphone or whatever, all these things make for a lot of fun and entertainment and any videos that lack them (yours or those of other people) tend to be very carefully produced and the life and vibrancy is just totally sucked out of them by perfectionism and self-awareness and carefully curated images. Chaotic, goofy, authentic, stream of consciousness type videos should even be the easier ones to make, being un-prepared, haphazard, un-edited. I barely care about the toys or media discussed, I just want to laugh throughout the day!

As stated in comments previously on some of your videos, it is entertaining watching your review for a product you like. Like the Bonebreaker last week. Great video David. This has been the one ML I pre-ordered as I just finished the World Devourer - and I am a huge Thor fan. This ML is going to be a grail in my collection along with the Big G. I pray that this makes your top 10 list at the end of the year. There is detail and accessories we rarely get anymore, and aside from the lack of a peg for the ravens, I still love what Hasbro has done. I have seen videos where one of the ravens is on the shoulder with the raven feet tucked under the hair. The other was balanced in the hand.

So after binging it’s always sunny.. i finally get the reference of this video’s title. Dennis approved.

Just got this guy and it's contender for best Marvel Legend of the year! He's simply awesome, probably the best Thor figure hasbro has put out. And If he doesn't have as much lightning as you want, you can tuck in lightning parts from 20th Cap or even Endgame Thor from Infinity Saga. Displaying options with this guy are spectacular! My only gripe is he could have some sort of shin swivel so he could stand a little easier. Other than that he's perfect. Thanks for the review, Dave!

I'm not sure how to use this figure. I have 2 ideas, both are pretty good. 1. Use him as Asgardian Frey! That way gives me another fudged Asgardian. 2. Use him as another version of Donar, Evil German Thor! Maybe give him the Shao Khan hammer and fudge Shao Khan as another evil guy.

Yeah, this Thor is a villain for me, an alien that is using a cult of racists and supremacists and others to do his bidding, as they worship him like a God in the hope that they may too be turned into Gods or something at the higher levels, in an America (West, and World) that has been twisted by the likes of Hydra and stuff. U.S. Agent and Blue Marvel are also to be used as villains in the set, with Blue Marvel being used as a character like the Winter Soldier Movie Robert Redford character, so the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. but a bad guy (so I have the Captain Marvel Nick Fury suit for an alternative body for the head sculpt) and then U.S. Agent as the brutal replacement of a basically exiled Captain America. I might have liked a more MCU looking version of the S.H.I.E.L.D. female figure looking like the actress, as I didn't like the big looking heads or features of the two new S.H.I.E.L.D. female head sculpts or even the body too much, I would've preferred it to look a little differently, so I didn't purchase that. Controller will be used with Exclusive Thanos body (which has silver in the leg parts) so that I didn't need to get the whole wave, Controller will be another villain on the Tech side of things, so its an attack on the Spiritual, Technological, and Governmental, with three villains that I'm really excited about having as evil "bosses" for the characters to fight against.

I think I will use him as Donar then, use Shao Khan as an evil Chinese God, just like I'm using Mandarin Spawn as Evil Japanese God Amatsu Mikaboshi! I have Raiden as the Good Japanese God of Thunder and a member of my unofficial'God Squad'! So I finally got my Surter, and my Drizzet to use as Maleketh's son, and an Ice Giant! It seems like there's a Sun Wukong for sale at BBTS. Expensive but I would love for Monkey to get involved. On the Good Guy side. I love having diversity. Like I have said, I can't prove it but I created the first Interracial Super Hero Team in 1964! I also had the first LGBT characters in 1976 as all my female characters became bi-sexual, with Tina Takamoto aka Kamakaze as a lesbian. Because I am not a hypocrite, I had plans for a gay or bi man, but I just never was able to implement him. Tom T. Thomas, name obviously derived from Tom T. Hall, a Jungle Warfare expert! But, just like I never could come up with a good Super Hero name for Billy Ray, (as the Ray was already taken), I never could find a place for him.

The symbol on his chest makes the “th” sound in Nordic languages, icelandic for sure. Not sure about Norwegian or Finish

@@DisplayingModelBehaviour dave just got a black series vader , sharon carter and moon knight from the mcu so EXCITED and they cost 30 bucks also got these guys at a Macy's alot of discounts at the new toys r u s section they brought back also found most of the bone breaker wave ill go back to pick up maggot and wolverine soon also I lost hope in finding moon knight and sharon found them behind a couple of figs great haul

The single jointed elbows have me scratching my head, but other than that it’s fantastic

the figure is great, it's just that the costume is outdated. would've been great if he had interchangeable sleeveless arms and a head sculpt with his helmet on his latest issues

This series by thor is one of the best thor stories of all time ..and he never really become the herald of galactus completely..he just took galactus's power to beat a common enemy... Spoiler alert .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. He then killed galactus in the end
