I'm with you in that I would have really liked some more information in the guidebook as there is so much depth to the deck. But as you mentioned, it's a great opportunity to explore more which I am definitely looking forward to doing. I think this deck could befit from a full-sized guidebook, given the depth of Welsh/Celtic myth, and that it is based on an established pagan tradition. Perhaps one is in the works.
