Thank you for another lovely walkthrough. My take on the Fool is that he is the narrator in a sense, ushering us into the world of these ancestral stories, hence his presence differs significantly from that of the characters. I love all your stories (that is what your videos are for me) and I hope you will continue storytelling forever and a day.

And I actually like the Fool card. It reminds me of a mirror to myself sitting with this deck. It is like I am involved in this deck.

I like the fool card as well, it brings to a point in the present, all the ancestors, journeys that have been. for me 😄

This is a beautiful deck I love the swords suit in this deck.. swords are my favourite suit within tarot and these are gorgeous and the pentacles suit is wow to I love native energy ❤️

Totally agree with you about the Fool card......... it just doesn’t go with the rest of the deck. I have the older version with the Tracy Hoover guidebook which I picked up when I got the deck a few years ago. If I remember correctly the model for the Fool is Tracy Hoover author of the larger guidebook. And I believe Julie Cuccia Watts is the mode, for the HP and the Empress and her partner is the model for the Magician and the Emperor and they are both the models for the Lovers..... one of my favorite Hanged One cards ever! Makes up for the Fool!!!!! Great video and first impressions.

Did I buy this back in the '90s? Love the large card format. The clothing and "look" is off on the sword suit and the wand suit. Overall a lovely deck.

By far the largest deck I own, and yes I have small hands, but bad eyes, LOL! Love it!

I also, see this card being like a modern day shaman who is getting ready to take us (the fool) on an ancestral journey via divination. I have both the first and second editions of this deck. Although I really do appreciate the art work, I really wish that they had just made this reprint a borderless version of the first edition and kept the guide book as it has alot more information than the little white book♥️🙏🏾

I love the art work of this deck. Wasn't crazy about the fool card before I purchased it & I still have such a challenge digesting it. The hanged one is also not a favorite. The rest of the deck is beautiful. High priestess is my favorite. However, I find the large size unmanagable so I use this deck as an oracle deck & not for tarot readings. What tarot deck that everyone hates (or might be controversial in any way) but you really like? We need the t 👀 Mine is Tarot of 1001 nights. Everyone hates it's quality and Lo Scarabeo making the pictures almost miniature paintings. But this deck feels so nostalgic to me since I live in a Middle Eastern area and need to connect to my culture more. I absolutely love it and find reading with it so easy and intuitive.

6 Cups - looking back in time: the young boy here could that be Arthur depicted taught by Merlin? Also, the 7 Cups have you looked inside the cups. I am not so familiar with all the details but one of them shows Guinevere and Lancelot, so it is a poison chalice.....?!

I used to own the previous version of this deck. The newest version looks so much better but why did they not change The Fool card. It's an eye-sore. I may consider repurchasing this deck in its newest edition. Loved this walkthrough.

I’m making peace with the Fool because the rest of the deck is so powerful that I think there is something there as well, just a reminder to go inward and to bring the lessons from the past into the future I am thinking!

Oh noo this doesn't have numbering which is much i preferred to stay on the tarot decks...

So is it impossible to get the original gudebook now?

Hi Ravyn, I purchased a copy of the original guidebook on eBay for $45 (kinda expensive). You may be able to get your hands on a copy too. Enjoy using the deck! 😊

That's too funny I was thinking that the majors were my least favorite of this deck also and could be removed. Usually it's the other way around.

I can certainly understand that, but that is pretty much the style of my walkthroughs so you probably won’t find them to taste. There are many people who do card flip throughs, thankfully, that you should be able to find that easily. I have one linked in the description that is shorter and compares it to the original that may help!
