I would want the top to lift up to put stuff in side not constantly pulling it out to put stuff in.

My Merrilat cabinets from 2005 have dual wastebasket that pull out like this but the bins drop into a frame rather than sitting in a plywood box. That genius word has lost all meaning.

I love the idea of this and beautifully done! However, as someone who had mine on sliders under the sink, I finally took it out. It became so nasty, then the sliders rusted. Not everyone hit the garbage with a clean shot haha...

LOVE this and your instructions are easy to follow. My only question is why are the sides thick and sturdy, but the bottom is thin? Drawers historically bow over time.

Trash can enclosure looks nice. But can't open the lid of trash can. I don't want to remove the can from the enclosure each time I have garbage to put in it.

Yes, maybe he forgot about that. He could take off the top to fix the problem. Then again, maybe it doesn't bother him to maneuver the trash can all the time. 🤔🗑️

It's irresponsibleand lazy to dedicate valuable cabinet space to landfill garbage. Stop buying so much stuff in non recyclable packaging and you've solved 90% of your landfill trash problem.

​@@jackiewinters5792looks like a she but you can't tell these days. I'm just into using the smallest receptacles possible for the landfill, compost, recycling, and hazmat containers. Those 15 gallon gargantuan trash receptacles are embarrassing. Just acknowledge you don't even try to avoid overconsumption and call it a day.

Exactly. These videos pop up claiming to have some brand new idea and then you watch it and it's something that has been going on for 20 years or more.

They sell trashcan drawers that look very nice.

I guess you could keep the kids open while it’s in there!?! Other than that… it’s not really useable the way it is. I have an 82yr old mom that wouldn’t be able to pull it in and out or would get really frustrated having to do it. It’s an attractive cover though!

OK. The first one, the pull out is definitely not a new idea. Maybe 25 years new.

First one is good except I would do pocket holes and glue instead of the L brackets. The rest are meh.

I've had my kitchen garbage can hidden to look like the rest of the cabinets. I pull out the handle, then lift the bag out, replace with new trash bag in the plastic can and then softly closes. How is this genius and implies as a new idea? My kitchen was remodeled 4 yrs ago. 🤔

We had a pull-out trash can installed in our kitchen when we remodeled 24 years ago. This is nothing new!

I always thought trash bin designs are poor and just need something ingenious to come aboard.

Yep… now how do you put trash into it?? I walk past mine all the time, lift the lid, and throw in my plastic bag from the kitchen, trash from the yard, trash from the garage, etc. I’m not sure if I wanna pull that trash can all the way out every time I have some trash to quickly toss in. 🫤

Better idea to have the top higher so you can still open the lid to throw trash in. I always back my trash can up to the house, so would be easy enough to do.
