Ahaha yeah it was a little long this one. It was either that or you’d have to wait for a Split edit. It gets hard to crunch so much footage into a small space. We can rest when we’re old right 😂

I did check them out as the fitter I used sell both options. They are very similar. The 30sec was just a lighter weight version it seems. The canvas is thinner. I think the overall weight was only 1kg different so I went for the heavy duty canvas so hold up in the heavy rain and snow. 👍🏿

Cheers Gilly, it’s always a hard call to crunch 4-5 days into an hour and then to split or not to split. I prefer the YouTubing when it’s a beer or so long too so works for me! 😂 your right about the lanyard, he was making a habit of losing things before we went home. Lol

Hi Daz great vid! Well done johno! Daz I'm heading to fiordland in 2020 to hunt wapiti never hunted them before I'm used to sambar hunting. Was just wondering if I could ask you a few questions about what goes on over there and what to expect also anything else that 'll help us out over there as I know it 'll be a challenge hunting in those conditions. cheers mate hope to hear from you soon

Hey Ben, no worries mate. This style is called a safari sling or speed sling. The one we used on this trip is a prototype from Moroka30. Should be available in 2020 👍

@@IntotheMountains It's looks like it's extremely comfortable compared to the normal sling out there. I'm over the one I have at the moment. Down right pain in the you know what... One more question, how much time would you spend editing your videos once you're back from a hunt?
@IntotheMountains
4 жыл бұрын
Theo Karanikos edit varies a bit. This was a 4 day trip with a few cameras rolling so the sorting of the video takes the longest. The actually edit once I’ve got the footage Layed out took me about 6-7hours. Export and upload another three hours. Video sorting another 5-6 hours on an edit like this. It’s a Labour if love. If I had better equipment it could be a lot faster but I’m happy working with what I have atm.
Mate how did your awning stand up the that rain
@IntotheMountains
4 жыл бұрын
Perfectly mate. It absolutely bucketed down for days with 100km gusts and the awning didn’t flinch. I didn’t need to adjust or interact with it at all.
Another great vid out with the Boys.
