The highest quality naturally appearing sandalwood trees in Asia are found only in the Marayoor sandalwood groves in Kerala. A group of forest guards have been guarding these sandalwood trees worth crores of rupees for ages, risking their own lives to protect them. Through the documentary 'The Gate Keepers of Sandalwood', Twentyfour News narrates to the world, the story of these gatekeepers and the sandalwood forests. When these forest guards narrate their lives beyond stories, the audience will be presented with unadorned people and their real life experiences.

ഈ അടുത്ത കാലത്തൊന്നും ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു ഡോക്യൂമെൻട്രി കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല 🔥🤗
ഞാൻ ഇന്ന് വരെ ഒരു കമൻ്റ് പോലും എവിടെയും എഴുതിയിട്ടില്ല. ആദ്യം ആയി ഏഴുത്തുന്നത് ആണ് ഇത് പോലെ ഒരു ഡോക്യുമെൻ്ററി ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ മാത്രമേ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ളൂ വളരെ നന്നായിട്ടുണ്ട്. സൂപ്പർ വർക്ക് പൊരിച്ചു
രണ്ടര വർഷം ഈ ചന്ദനക്കാട്ടിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തതാണ്.........! ഒരു മുളവടിയുമായി ചന്ദനമരം സംരക്ഷിക്കാൻ ഇറങ്ങുന്ന ഫോറസ്റ്റ് കാരൻ നേരിടുന്ന വെല്ലുവിളികൾ അറിയണമെങ്കിൽ നേരിട്ട് കണ്ടുതന്നെ മനസ്സിലാക്കണം........! എന്തായാലും ഇതുപോലൊരു ഡോമെൻ്ററി ചെയ്യാൻ സൻമനസ്സു കാണിച്ച 24 ന്യൂസിന് അഭിനന്തനങ്ങൾ ❤🙏🏻

നാട്ടുകാരായവർ വനസംരക്ഷണ പ്രവർത്തകർ ആയതിന് ശേഷവും കാടും നാടും നന്നായി അറിയാവുന്നവർ വാച്ചർമാരായി മാറിയ ശേഷവുമാണ് കുറഞ്ഞത്.. ഇവരിൽ പലരും ചന്ദന മോഷ്ടാകളൾ ആയിരുന്നു . ഇത്തരത്തിൽ ഒരു പദ്ധതി സർക്കാർ തലത്തിൽ നടപ്പിലാക്കിയത് വി എസ് അച്യുതാനന്ദൻ സർക്കാരും വനം മന്ത്രിയായ ബിനോയ് വിശ്വം എന്നിവരാണ്. പാളപ്പെട്ടിയിലെ ആ പറയുന്ന ഓപ്പറേഷൻ നടത്തിയ സമയത്ത് ഞാൻ വണ്ണാം തുറ ഫോറസ്റ്റ് സ്സേഷനിൽ ഉണ്ട്.........! 20 വർഷത്തിനു ശേഷം അങ്ങനൊരു ഓപ്പറേഷൻ ആദ്യമായാണ് അത് സാഹസികമായ ഒരു അറ്റംറ്റ് ആയിരുന്നൂ.......! അന്ന് അത് ചെയ്തില്ലായിരുന്നൂ എങ്കിൽ നോർത്തിൻ്റൃൻ കൊള്ളക്കാരെക്കാളും മോശമായേനെ അവസ്ഥ
