Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
www.pilatesology.com We had the opportunity to talk about the future and past of Pilates with one of Romana Kryzanowska's chosen protégés, Cynthia Lochard. Cynthia came to Pilates in 1976 as a young dancer with the New York City Ballet (she was also in the movie Fame) and remains at the center of the Romana's Pilates organization traveling worldwide as a Teacher Trainer. In Part 1 our interview, Cynthia touches on many topics, including: why she hated Pilates at first and why she returned to it later; the life and business lessons she learned from Romana; what qualities she sees in a great teacher; what she feels is the greatest shame about the way the Pilates method is taught today; how to discover the depth of the Pilates in your own body, and more. Stay tuned for the next Part of our discussion soon.

That's amazing!! Best of luck, you've got this 🤗
is the future of Pilates kicking out everyone who doesnt make your popularity cult?
Joseph Pilates did have an anatomy book, he definitely was a genius in creating the apparatus, however the base and root of the movements are mostly coming from his practicing yoga which is more than 5000 years old.
why dont you at least turn the chairs over into chairs if you are both the experts
Some interesting stuff, thank you for sharing. I see your frustration when your client goes to someone else and has that light bulb moment, but to me it just means your client is not ready to hear and take on what you are saying and in my experience too much language and hands on doesn't allow your client to explore movement themselves, it's not necessary to tell clients what they should feel they just need time to develop the skill and as you said experience movement in their body in a positive way.
