The Future Of Graphic Design WILL Contain These Sectors! (Important)

The world of graphic design is changing FAST! So if you are someone who is considering a career as a graphic designer, or wants to maintain their position in this industry, this video about the best niches to get involved in for 2023 and beyond might be exactly what you need.
I've looked at the graphic design sector and have pinpointed what I deem to be the 5 best niches that make sense to get involved in, for future security and future prospect. Ai (artificial intelligence), is obviously going to be a huge part of the future of graphic design, but there are ways that people, designers, can work alongside the technology to make great things happen. From motion graphics and Ui design, to environmental graphic design and identity design, the 5 niches I've looked at are probably the better options for designers moving forward. Of course, these are just my opinions as a graphic designer myself. They don't have to be taken super seriously by you, but to me they make the most sense.
Also it should be noted that the future is unseen, and there will likely be events or emerging technologies that we cannot envision just yet. But what niche sectors do you like, and what ones are you currently working and designing in as a graphic designer?
If you found todays video on the 5 best niches of graphic design enjoyable or useful, let me know in the comments section and drop a like on your way out. Subscribe to stay updated to all of my uploads and until next time, design your future today, peace ✌️

I just started my bachelors thesis recently about data visualization in data-driven journalism. I thought it quite fascinating how we go back to shapes and colors to convey complex numbers. And to draw insight from it while also being somewhat entertained.

@@fitlana2821 I don't dislike interior design - I'm 22 and I'm not sure which creative discipline I like the most. I'm all over interiors, graphics, web dev and currently working in social media marketing, trying out video editing and stuff. I'm also interested in urbanism 😩 In general, the psychology of design and people-related creative/tech/craft disciplines are my thing, but I'm not sure which one yet. I'm planning to do masters in design to further figure it out :) I simply love interiors, but I love way too many other things not to try them out

I am in my mid-30s and started a journey to become a graphic designer. It's overwhelming at times to absorb so much information (e.g. the difference between similar types of typefaces and why people choose it etc. XD), but I LOVE it so much. Your channel is the best for anyone to explore the graphic design world, from beginners to experts. Your message is clear and goes straight to the point (no woosh hush lol). I want to create something like that in the future after I gain many experiences in this field. I feel anxious, honestly, as I am not that 'young' anymore, but I want to be someone I want to be, not someone I am supposed to be. Thank you for your content and inspiration. Watch me :D lol

Thanks for this comment, really. 30s isn't late for getting into design. Also the fact you are 30 will probably mean you look at things differently compared to someone in their teens or 20s. You have more experience and will probably process information more efficiently.

I never have thought about my design outside the flat, two-dimensional, canvas, sure I do mock-ups, but thanks to you, for getting me started on looking at how I could incorporate the physical realm of Environmental Design into my work. I could see that opened up a new path for me, working in incorporating graphic design into a physical spaces, alongside the architectural designers themselves.

I think a possible future niche or a sub-nicje of data visualization will be blockchain data design. So far blockchain data is just a random looking messy code but if the technology gets more adapted and integrated in our lives, there definitely will be a need for graphic designers who are able to make all that blockchain data visually appealing and readable

I love motion design, I'd be happy if I could find work in that sector of graohic design. But in France, brands are a bit too frisky to put money on the table for their communication needs. I wish I lived in UK where even a small lavomatic hires freelance for graphic design and motion design :D

I'd like that, but I'm still an (old) beginner, I'm finishing my retraining (I'll be getting my bachelor in december). So I don't have much to show except my training projects, in a highly competitive world ;) But I found a working-learning master II in art direction for 1 year starting in september, I will use that time to develop my portfolio and my own brand so I can then fully work as a freelance designer. As long as I can get a fair living wage, that's all I want :) (Yes I'm doing my master in 1 year because here the bachelor degree is considered half bachelor level, half 1 year of master)).
