Solicitations are a way for retailers and comic book fans to see what is coming out in the future of comics. While it might spoil a story for some readers, it is a great place to mine for knowledge.
War Of The Realms concludes with issues #5 and #6 in June 2019, but Marvel Solicitations show another 20 plus tie-in books for the event, which will shake the Marvel universe. We have had these kinds of things before, which Marvel promised were gone with the beginning of Fresh Start. Most of these are non-essential to the main story, and are just small adventures for characters that could be impacted.
We also see more than 15 Spider-Man titles coming to print in June 2019, and that is before we include the True Believers reprints of classic Marvel comics like Amazing Spider-Man #1. The majority of these are of no interest to even a Spider-Man fan like myself, but the main title and a few others are worth sticking with.
We do also have the return of some classic creators on one-shot stories. Peter David and Dale Keown are back for Incredible Hulk: Last Call #1, plus Chris Claremont, Larry Hama and more join together for Wolverine: Exit Wounds #1. For older comic book fans these could be great trips back in time with creators that defined their characters.
For new series we have Black Cat #1, which brings Felicia Hardy front and center, but this could simply be a push for her character in the Sony movie series. However, the big book to look for is Silver Surfer Black #1 from Donny Cates and Tradd Moore. With Cates firm grip on the Marvel cosmic landscape, I'm expecting some very cool stuff from this five issue mini series.

I'm looking forward to you doing iRate reviews of "War of the Realms" and any Spidey worth reading, so I don't have to. Thanks, in advance, Stan.

I picked up Black Cat #1 & 2 variants for it. I liked the 1st issue and will continue to read it.

Who the hell is going to be able to get the whole War of the Realms event with all the tie-ins? 15 different Spider-man related comics is way too much. For starters, Superior Spider-man and ps4 spider-man is completely pointless. Getting Claremont back writing Wolverine sounds good.

Marvel ruining something good with an excess of it? Yep, sounds just like them. On another note, that amount of tie-ins sounds RIDICULOUS. Seriously, can’t we just have a self-contained story with minimum tie-ins that actually involve characters in the main event? We don’t need everybody on it, jeez. It’s what ruined Al Ewing’s Ultimates, having to fit in Civil War 2 in the middle of his story. Thankfully, Ewing is a great writer that can work around it, but not everybody is like that.
