This talk explores the powerful presence of Latina women in America. It's craftful delievery guides audiences through the intersection of equality for women while celebrating the undertones of Hip Hop. Hip Hop Media Personality, Letty Peniche first made a name for herself in LA radio. With checks on her resume that include co-hosting Big Boy’s Neighborhood on Power 106 & holding down nights on Real 923, Letty has stood out as one of thee go-to hip hop heads in Los Angeles. Having also served as Dreamville’s social media correspondent while the team traveled the globe for the roll out of J. Cole’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive album and having provided Spanish radio vocals on Lupe Fiasco’s 2018 DROGAS WAVE, artists trust Letty to help tell their story. This mother of 3, and her husband Jorge Peniche, have also focused their recent efforts on issues affecting their Latino community, setting up The Peniche Foundation which facilitates donations and visits with migrant children separated from their families at the border.     Should’ve been paid equal the amount or even more. I used to get super excited whenever it was her air time over the radio. One of the biggest reasons why I tuned in to whichever station she was at. When she moved to another station, She moved my ears with her. Now I just listen to whatever music I put on Bluetooth. I’ll always support her and her vision.

    Lots of factors missing in the “gender pay gap” stats. Majority of economists have shown this theory to be false. You have to take into account many factors Including, vacation time, sick days, overtime hours worked and other important factors. These things are important because when these are taken into account it completely destroys the argument that women are paid less than men for the same job.
