The full exchange: Keir Starmer takes on Boris Johnson over lockdown party scandal

Boris Johnson and Keir Starmer have engaged in a heated exchange at this week's PMQs, in a week where the prime minister is facing pressure from several MPs to resign.
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer asked the prime minister when he first became aware that any of his staff had "concerns" about the gathering in the Downing Street garden on 20 May 2020.
Sir Keir said: "Not only did he write the rules, but some of his staff say they did warn him about attending the party on 20 May 2020.
"Now, I have heard the prime minister's very carefully crafted response to that accusation. It almost sounds like a lawyer wrote it. So, I'll be equally careful with my question. When did the prime minister first become aware that any of his staff had concerns about the 20 May party?"
Mr Johnson replied: "It is for the inquiry to come forward with an explanation of what happened", adding: "I am afraid he simply must wait."

Why's Boris Johnson called 'The Lion of UK' by Tory landlords? Some people totally trash talk him calling him 'The Barbarian King', he himself says he's 'The god of North Wind'. One thing's for certain he enjoys mixed opinion among the masses, like 'William the Conqueror' and 'Charles the Bad'. He got votes because Tories promised war with France but ended up with silly lockdowns, he surely did side kicked France out of the august alliance of AUKUS. But would he invade France? And can he kick China out of the South China sea and muscle Russians out of Ukraine???

Welcome to the British Parliamentary style debate in the House of Commons Chamber. It is lively with strict rules and codes of conduct, e.g. you cannot directly use the word 'lie'. Notice the words, 'excuses', 'unbelievable', 'twisting the truth' or 'the general public will think he is lying' will be carefully crafted into adversarial debates. Parody, sarcasm and ridicule are encouraged to season the argument. Enjoy from across The Pond!

How anyone can support this man after all this is beyond me. The conservatives did not vaccinate the country, an over worked, under appreciated and strained NHS did the hard work. Fastest Growing economy in the G7, really Boris? only true if you look only at change over the most recent 12 months of data. If you look at growth over the last quarter of data (Q2 to Q3 2021), the UK places fifth. Over the course of the pandemic so far (between the fourth quarter of 2019 and the third quarter of 2021), the UK’s economy has experienced the second worst growth among the G7, contracting by 1.5%.
