Johnson never answers a question, lies and attacks the opposition. Hoyle sits there and let's it happen. He's not fit for purpose.
@RobertJonesWightpaint
Жыл бұрын
This is balls. Hoyle is not there to ensure the prime minister tells the truth: that just isn't his job. He has in the past urged Johnson to actually address the questions, but his powers are extremely limited and are in large part reserved for and confined to keeping order. He's not a judge. Total ignorance of Parliamentary procedure - arcane though it might be - runs right through the criticism of the present Speaker by people who seem to think they could do a better job: and perhaps they could - but not in a Parliamentary chamber bound by procedures which they don't begin to understand.

They acted like animals in the house, I really don't know how you handle them, but you do it with reverence and chivalry, becoming your title and before. Highly entertaining mr speaker has been kicked in the nuts.
Biggest joke is Bojo has the title of rightly honourable before his name as prime minister.
Johnson: "He's (Starmer) has been considerably less lethal than some others" - other than the fact Starmer maneuvered the Tories into booting him out of the Commons via the Priviliages Committee. Har Har Har.
