Yeah, they are off to enjoy their weekend, yet you are taking care of something they knew about all week. 😂. I give them a speech to set an alarm for EOD of they day they find out. I understand, we are all busy, and this is a cheat code.

@@HVACRVIDEOS It is also common in the IT world too, getting a bunch of calls around 5pm everyday. Fortunately for us, we can defer to the next day. My other favorite is managers calling in a ticket Friday at 5pm and then leaving for two weeks vacation. Then we can't get a hold of them to figure out what the issue was because they left incomplete information. Then they get snotty with us when they return because we closed their ticket after three attempted contacts. LOL

I used to be a satellite tv installer. Customers always called friday evening, or early saturday morning, my TV is not wroking, fix it ASAP. Also, South Africans have a favorite sport, RUGBY... But what always caught me, a customer calling me on a Saturday afternoon, "My Dish has not been working the whole week, we want to watch the Rugby game @ 3.00pm... Please come and fix it ASAP"! TIME OF CALL USUALLY, 2.50PM!!!

Not to shabby of a call for OT. Definitely good thinking on your part for being prepared and having motors and blades on the ready. Came in clutch and made the call easier and helped the customer out. They will gladly pay to have the new parts installed when you have them on hand. They don't tend to fuss about cost or have time to "run the numbers". Another great video Chris

We had our freezer in our online pickup and delivery department throw an HA code at temp control and a DLL at condensing unit control. We ended up resetting breaker and it’s working okay now, but still have our technician coming out tomorrow to take a look, plus clean the condenser coils bc I noticed those looked pretty grungy.
