I love how, when he sings, you can tell that that's his natural voice, that's what comes to him naturally when he sings, It's amazing, truly. He's so in his element and in a way it's vulnerable and real, yet so strong and powerful. They say you can't be vulnerable and own a performance....well, I think this proves that wrong for sure. It's captivating....this is this right here is a love and passion for music.

This song is so powerful. Makes me so emotional. The need for care and love and comfort for those who need it. My take is it’s a story that starts out about a man who falls in love with a broken women who desperately needs love and safety and comfort. Then he goes to war and comforts another wounded soldier. Then he comes home from war with PTSD and desperately needs his own love and comfort. So tragically sad, but so good. God bless this country and the men that fight so selflessly for it.

This is my favorite song by The Fray and it's amazing that there is also an acoustic version. No words can describe how I feel and how much I love this band. They have helped me through all the bad things going on in my life for the past year. I knew this band since I first heard "How To Save A Life" back when my mom watched Grey's Anatomy. I also liked Over My Head and just didn't know it was this band haha. But I will never forget the day I "discovered" this band almost 2 years ago. They have forever changed my life. I don't what I would do if they ever broke up. I really hope I can go the Train concert that's featuring The Fray and Matt Nathanson because it would honestly complete my life. I couldn't go last year and this could possibly be the last time they come to my city for a few years or never again... :(

+Urielyadork. To be honest, I'm in a really similar situation as you! A lot have things have been going on in my life for the past few years, and have resulted in some pretty dark stuff.. When I came across The Fray a few years back, I was like "Ohhh, so these are the guys that sang 'how to save a life'", and to be honest I didn't exactly get hooked to them right away, until I saw that they had released Scars and Stories a few months before. I started listening to the album and the rest is kind of history. Their music helped me cope with the mess of what was my life, and as I'm writing this now I find it ironic that their most popular song is titled 'how to save a life', because they surely saved mine... I was blessed enough to be able to see them back in June along wit Train and Matt Nathanson, which also happened to be my first concert :)

I totally understand where you're coming from.. When I was way younger, my brother's used to listen to How To Save A Life, You Found Me, and Over My Head very often. Being that I no choice but to listen, I grew into this type of music. Later, I found How To Save A Life and saw the this band, The Fray, had sung it. As I dug more into their music, I realized that they had also sung You Found Me and Over My Head. That's when I knew I wanted to find more of their music. Well.. I'm here now about 5 years later and I'm might have all their songs/the majority of their songs downloaded and I listen to them almost everyday. I had a really rough 2 years (so far) and The Fray (along with Owl City, my favorite singer) really helped me think positive and stay strong. I don't know where I'd be with The Fray (and Owl City). You're comment gave me so much hope. I also see that you posted this one year ago, so I'm not sure if you went to their concert, but if not, I really hope you can in the future. I understand how much you want(ed) to go to their concert. ;3 I never really considered attending one of their concerts too much, especially that I haven't had the opportunity to yet, but I know that the thought of it is there. I'm a huge fan of Owl City and I have been waiting for the opportunity to go to one of his concert, but it hasn't come yet, so that's how I know how you feel about attending one of The Fray's concerts. I would like to remind you that this comment gave me so much hope, so thank you so, so much!

The Fray See you there Don't know where you come from Unaware the stare from someone Don't appear to care that I saw you, and I want you too What's your name? Because I have to know it You let me in and begin to show it We're terrified, because we're heading straight for it, might get it Your favorite song plays on the background All alone but you turn it up now And everyone is rising to meet you, to greet you Turn around and you're walking toward me I'm breaking down and you're breathing slowly Say the word and I will be your man, your man Say when And my own two hands will comfort you Tonight, tonight Say when And my own two arms will carry you Tonight, tonight Come close and even closer We bring it in, but we go no further We separate two ghosts in one mirror, no mirror Later on, if it turns to chaos Hurricanes coming all around us See the crack, pull it back From the window, you stay low Say when And my own two hands will comfort you Tonight, tonight Say when And my own two arms will carry you Tonight, tonight Come across, you're lost and broken You're coming to, you're slow and waking You start to shake Still haven't spoken, what happened? I'm coming back and you just don't know when You want to cry but there's nothing coming They're gonna push until you give in, say when Now we're here and it turns to chaos Hurricanes coming all around us Another crack throws you back from the window You stay low All began with the man of country Another plan sends another century Around again another nation, fallen Any guy can be on both sides of a coin Never understood why Some of us never get a shoulder, shoulder Some of this we kept with us All of us will go out there 'Cause it never stops until we give in, give in To give in, give in Say when And my own two hands will comfort you Tonight, tonight Say when And my own two arms will carry you Tonight, tonight Say when And my own two hands will comfort you Tonight, tonight.

Love this song! The Fray Rocks!!!
"Maybe god can be on both sides of the gun; never understood why some of us never get it so good"... The only statement that ever made religion any sort of relatable.
This song overwhelms me every single time I hear it. So beautiful.
He can definitely sing live, love it! Gorgeous voice
2020 ❤️❤️ still in love with this song...

2023. Tonight I’m 25, still listen to this, my only reminder of what it has ever felt like to love someone. I won’t ever again, that much I’m sure of now. Most don’t talk about this, but it’s so hard to die, but still be left on this earth. Simply left behind.
The words, the feelings this song sends
Incredibly beautiful. This song touches my soul.
Gosh this is so beautiful! Like I get goosebumps and get teary. We need more singers like this
His voice takes my breath away
I love this song so much. It stays on repeat. This is my first time hearing this live acoustic. I'm in love. lol.
This is a beautiful version. And also beautifully shot.
I don't think that I can really explain how much I love them. Their music touches me so deep. Isaac has the most beautiful voice ever and it sounds great live
This music is so perfect, This band is so perfect...nobody has nothing to say against them!
This is the best song of them!

There are no words to describd my love for this special and brilliant song. It speaks right to my heart.❤❤❤i love the fray and issac slade is one of the best and inspirational artists(real artists) out there. He is one of a kind. I really need to see them before i will die. They were there to my happiness and misery and have so much to tell them. Everyone who met them is so lucky❤❤❤
First band thats sounds just as good (AWESOME!) live. I is now officially my favorite band. Hands down.
I am utterly in love with this song.
Yeah as a guy I can agree that is voice is genuine and raw at the same time capturing emotion. Thumbs up if you think people who use auto-tune is actually talented.
They're all so incredibly talented. God, thank you for creating these perfect people. ♥
03:18 i get goosebumps
My love for this band is indescribable.... I've been listening to them since I was 6 years old. Thank you for coming from Colorado. Please come back and play a show for my 16th birthday!!! :)
