Another great video Murray, Thanks. I was lucky on my first time on Beinn Dearg I got airlifted by RAF seeking- but not on a nice day like yours, so had to go back on another day about 4 years later to really enjoy the hill. Glad of the virus or we may have never seen this video. keep them coming

Spectacular views in total unspoilt mountain wilderness. Lovely in the snow and winter light. Unrelenting steep slopes in Torridon. Loved it well done

I was in Torridon this time last year, I walked Beinn Alligin and Liathach but on both days my gaze was drawn to Beinn Dearg as it looked so imposing and almost impenetrable, it’s certainly a match for any Munro.

Stunning as usual Murray, I've not been up any mountains in Torridon as I have always thought of them as being out of my league but the one thing this situation has taught me is life really is too short and these are definitely now in my scope. These are such beautifully produced little films that it's easy to underestimate just how much sheer effort and skill it must take to do this single-handedly. The stunning footage together with the calming and informative commentary make a great combination. For anyone heading out into these hills for the first time it's an invaluable resource and for those who can't, just enjoy! Thanks Murray.

Another great video. I love the golden colour on the mountain tops . Finally that scary peak climb. I felt like I was on your shoulders! Both sides was a good drop...but you made it!...take care❤️ 🇨🇦

What a wonderful video Murray.....Torridon must rate among the best mountain views in Scotland....if I can only get the UK to open its airports so that I can get over to Scotland for my annual hikes I would be so happy.. Perhaps I could quarantine in Torridon somewhere !!! Keep these fabulous videos coming.....I like many others are approaching an age where these videos will be the only virtual means of visiting places such as this.....Until then !!

Great adventure Murray and I remember climbing Liathach with my late dad in the late 70s I think and thinking what a great mountain it was ...it looked so remote and inviting...hopefully up there soon!

Torridon is my favourite glen The colours, composition and texture in your shots are just fantastic. I can't go climbing anymore, not that I did much, but it's so good to be with you on a virtual climb. Take care

Nice one Murray. Let's hope the hills 'open' soon. I walked up my local Kilpatrick Hills today in a 20km walk, I had never climbed them until 'lockdown'. Great views over Glasgow and all the way down the Clyde to Greenock and beyond. Itching to get back in the mountains. Regards - John

Wonderful. Morning from New Zealand. We had to leave Scotland mid March due to being recalled by our government. We were hiking up in Glencoe..so we are missing Scotland Cheers Ro Traveller's Nest NZ

I’ve driven through there but not done any exploring. It’s an area of mountains I still need to discover. Great video. Just shows, your older stuff is still excellent 😎👍. That descent looks a bit 😳

People go on about the 3 Torridon peaks: Liatach, Beinn Eighe and Beinn Alligin. And with justification, as they are 3 of the greatest mountains in Britain. But Beinn Dearg gets forgotten because it's just a couple of feet short of a Munro. But it's a magnificent hill with a nice ridge and amazing views of the other 3. An absolute must climb. And I saw my first ever real close up of a Golden Eagle on the ground near the summit.

Not sure if it was the camera angle from the GoPro but that walk along the ridge looked precarious as hell. You made it look damn easy. The mountains looked amazing Really enjoying your archives.

Like me Murray i think you like to do most of your mountains solo, though as you say you have to be prepare to travel at ungodly hours, start early, often in thee dark ,plan and execute meticulously with military precision !! You did well with such limited available daylight .... Great stuff 👍

Wounderful mountain

Gorgeous scenery (as usual!) but after reading about how the locals in the remote Highlands have treated outsiders during the COVID-19 lockdown, I've lost all passion for visiting Scotland again and I'm sure many other outsiders will be thinking the same. People have a veneer of civility in good times, but there's nothing like a crisis to reveal true colours.

Awesome mate! Still haven't been to Torridon. Looking forward to exploring more North West. What would be your top 3 in Torridon for a less experienced hiker?

Depends what you are after - a wee hike round to the triple buttress on Beinn Eighe is a grand walk :) if you feel adventurous - you could head up to one of the tops from there - check out the walk highlands site - a great place for all sorts of info :) Take care, stay safe and thanks for watching ATB Murray

They tried that with Ben Lawers and it was considered to be cheating, and now the whole big cairn is gone. We'd need to jack the mountain up and stick a foot of rock underneath it.

Creamy Pasta when I first visited Scotland in 1997 with my dad, we did Ben Nevis via the CMD arête

Please slow down and show the panoramas from the summits in all your videos at a more leisurely pace. I am constantly frustrated by your edits - I am just taking in the view and you chop out of it.
