Videos affect us(especially kids) in such profound ways- be careful what you let kids watch! I must’ve been 4 when I saw a re creation of a kidnapper taking a sleeping girl from her bed. I was learning about stranger danger. As my family stressed not to trust strangers, my brain got the message that anyone I didn’t know was plotting to kidnap me, and if they didn’t nab me outside or at a store they would sneak in and take me from my bed- I SAW that other girl taken. As you can imagine, I had some horrible fears that seemed inescapable. Lots of tears , sleepless nights and needless ordeals going anywhere.

I grew up right where Maura went missing, one thing I think people need to understand is how much undeveloped forest there is to be searched. If someone runs out into the woods at night in the winter it's easy to get lost, succumb to the elements, and never be found. I really don't believe there's anything more sinister at play in her case, just a really tragic series of worst-case outcomes.

I've followed Maura's case and know quite a lot about it and I completely agree with you. I think Maura was overwhelmed by all the difficulties she'd experienced recently and crashing her car was the final straw. She ran off into the forest and either took her own life or got lost and succumbed to the elements.

I agree. I mean, she crashed twice in the short span of a few days. She had a bunch of booze. Birth control pills. Lying about a death in the family to excuse herself. ‼️The average person walks 3mph. If it takes 6 hours to get a search party out there they are already 18! miles away! And continuing to get farther away every second. Most searches cover 6-12 miles MAX. And even then it takes them DAYS to reach 12 miles from the last known spot someone was seen. She could potentially be twenty or thirty miles or even more away into the wilderness in less than a day. Especially if she was suffering from mental break in reality she would just keep walking and running until she died of hypothermia. There is nothing supernatural in the forest. It's just common sense.

Maura Murray is such a sad and confusing case. She was hiding her trip from her family, friends, and job. I wonder what was going on. If she were meeting someone like a lover... that person would have probably come forward by now. I wish they could figure out where she was headed. And why was she going? Maybe someday we will find out. 😢

I lived in a shared house many years ago and one day one of the tenets was arrested for attempted rape of a neighbor. Apparently, weeks earlier a woman had smiled at him and said hello and he built up some story in his head. (He was on disability and borderline IQ. He reminded me of Lenny from Mice and Men) He broke into her house and apparently found a handgun and kept her hostage for awhile until she talked him out of it. He went back to our house to play video games with another room mate until the cops showed up. In the later weeks, we realized about little weird things that he did. He previously rearranged the living room so that the chair he sat on would have visibility on that lady's house. He put the TV next to the window it so it would appear as though he was watching it instead of her. Once I asked him what show he was watching and he told me he didnt know. Super creepy and I always think of this when women say they are afraid on men.

From what I understand about blindness, it would depend on the type and severity of the condition (for context, I'm shortsighted and have been wearing glasses all my life, not blind). Some blind people are still able to discern light, vague shapes and colours, so for them living in an unlit house would be hazardous, to say the least.

It depends on the type of blindness. Even for those with severely degraded vision, they can sometimes still tell the presence of ambient light and sunlight, for example, so they will try and maintain normal lighting to keep their Circadian rhythm normal. Insomnia is very common with blindness.

Some people who are blind can still 'see' light, but the practical use is usually directed lights that guide them towards things. An example I saw the other day was lighting near the cabinet handles so they can easily find them. It doesn't help them see the cabinet handles, it guides them to it.

I think the saddest part about the Happy Scientist is the man had a wife and several pets, so he seemed to live a fairly normal life. His wife did pass away from cancer very shortly before he was arrested, according to friends of Robert and his wife, neither they nor his wife were aware of what Robert was doing under the guise of an educator. While it's sad she died like that, at least she didn't live long enough to see the monster that her husband really was. Also I hope his pets went to good homes

Tbh, if he weren’t a pedo the noises he made while eating the ice cream might come off as more weird than creepy, but hindsight is 20/20. It literally used to be all the way illegal to snap pictures of anyone without their knowledge AND consent. When I was 2, my mother had out me on a public carousel and this woman would wait for me to come by and follow me past her with the camera: "CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK!!" When mum got me off, the lady approached us and told my mother she just thought I was so beautiful, and asked her if she minded that the photos get developed. I always think that's such a weird story, but back then (1992), you HAD to ask, or risk getting into a little potential trouble. The police would shoo away anyone who appeared to be taking photos of u willing people

Looking into her case theirs actually a lot of evidence pointing to fear but also mental illness…not that long ago stuff came out about how her boyfriend at the time was abusive and was later arrested for something separate involving assult and domestic battery so the theory was he took advantage of her in her mental state and possibly killed her. Nothings been proven yet but it is a possibility cause it makes sense

I think she did all that on purpose to escape her troubled life and ultimately walked out into the woods where she crashed to take her own life. Her body may be laying out 10 miles deep into the woods for all we know.

It is such an odd and sad case. Personally what they found out about the boyfriend it wouldn’t shock me. The poop one was more strange that I expected. His complete lack of self-awareness just struck me. I remember that explosive diarrhea video from years ago. It was added to the end of a video I was watching on KZread. I did not expect for it to still be filed in my memories to this day.

I love how since Bob can’t see, he decided to use his hearing for poop videos.

That first story really hit home for me. I was cyberstalked by an employee at a grocery store I frequented. He somehow found my Facebook page, despite only knowing my first name, and managed to get my phone number. He'd message and call me constantly, and would even leave creepy comments on my profile photos. I eventually confronted him and said point blank I wasn't interested, and fortunately he backed off. I love the way you speak, especially in this video. The way you phrase things make them funnier within the context, is "height and weight were of interest to Bob"..I've listened to this section dozens of times, it seems like you're about to explode into laughter at any moment 😂😂
