'The Flying Man' has a retro feel (especially since flying is apparently one of his many abilities; this feels slightly like Zack Snyder) that contrasts nicely with the realistic physics in your depiction of violence. It looks SO GOOD...only thing that sticks out to me is that all the world's governments would have been alerted by the end of his first exposé on the news and they'd have done everything in their power to contain this guy.

Sweet. 1. Keep the pretense of this short. 2. Sometimes it's better if the audience is left wondering (What the heck factor) 3. Don't ruin it with sappy romance/bedroom scenes 4. Why hasn't someone tried/ unsuccessfully shot him down (logical reason like a hint of telepathy/mild mind reading) 5. Don't make Flying Man look like Superman. 6. Have fun!

It's weird how it seems that no one knows what a short story is. They do have there own lane. It's not a trailer or an excerpt. That's how short stories work. They leave you hanging, not much resolved. And it's perfect the way it is. No more, no less. Great short!

Hollywood is too busy regurgitating super hero remakes and Tom Cruise BS.Old boys club thinks the actor sells tickets. What makes this so good is the "unknown" fresh faces. Just like GOT and Breaking Bad, etc. More believable than seeing the same old Clooney club.

netflix will buy anything with a nice trailer, few movies on netflix live up to their trailers. This definitely has a ton of potential, If i were running netflix id let this guy pick the movie he thinks would do best and then give him the money to make it, if it does well, then let him pick the next one etc. But netflix us run by some fools that think they are geniuses, so hard to predict what they would do.

This is an amazing production. The delivery (mood, music, lighting, camera shots, dynamics) and the actors, all strike a chord that shines unique.

Just like most, I’d love to see a continuation of the saga. Th Flying Man turns out to be a real Flying Man and he has never stopped . The MSM just stopped reporting .

My best guess is that this guy is inspired by Green Arrow... Which was made after Green Arrow aired on the CW... He was also called a vigilante and did killed his victims... To this day this is one of the most impressive shorts I've ever seen. It blows my mind that every year so many movies get made yet this magnificent piece hasn't been made yet.

This was actually worth the 9 minutes and 21 seconds of my life. You guys did a wonderful job. Look forward to seeing more.

I really do like this film, it asks the question other Super Hero filmes don't really take a time to look at. What would the effect of a Super Vigilante be on our society? No, not a superhero, a Vigilante, with superpowers, a super human force that takes the law into its own hands, that the law can't stop. How will people react, how will the world react. I think this film does a good job showing that, in direct and subtle ways. That's why you never really see the 'hero' has anything human, as an idenity, because they are not the point, the effect of their existence is the whole point of the story.

Perfect story, perfect characters and amazing background. This should seriously be made into a complete movie or a TV s eries.

Just Finished watching Hulu and Disney's Kdrama Moving and the last episode's Yellow Man, led me back here. This story still deserves a feature film Please. Checkout Moving. I feel the same storytelling Textures. There is a lot to wonder about Flying Man. Is he like the Hollow Man or is he dishing out deserved revenge like perhaps the punisher? . Absolutely still love this 7 years later for me.

Came across this by accident but wow! great short clip, needs to be a series, tv executives need to get onto this asap! 👌

Damn, dude, you need to go the way of Lights Out and make a full on movie. This was superb!

It's such an awesome concept. A superhero film from the point of view of the petty criminals he's tormenting. It's like some kind of reverse slasher film. The hero is stalking the villains.

Green T Awesome. I hope Todd actually get's around to filming it. POV from the criminals and the detectives (Same and Twitch) investigating it. Low budget, can't got wrong.

and it just ended when it got so interesting, hope this becomes a series or get picked up by a big company. kudos to all who worked on it.

Too hard to make a feature-length movie about something like this. This works perfectly as a short. Maybe if this was a Twilight Zone episode you could expand the storyline a bit. Otherwise, 1.5 hours of this would really drag out.

Oh my God, I hope Marcus puts out a full-length movie before someone steals this very engaging scenario, captured that vibe of making us feel what the surrealness would actually feel like if it really happened, big props for capturing that!...? It is so simple. The Flying Man heard what the protagonist was saying, that he wanted to quit, and was only doing this to get money for some family problem, and so he spared him. When he appears at the end, it is as a warning never to break the law again, because he'll be watching.

+waltereg0 No. That doesn't really work. How do you know that all of the people he killed were not planning to quit, even if they didn't say anything. Not to mention that it is my opinion that all mobsters seem to be planning to quit and retire, but never get around to it. And its pretty likely that he is there to kill the guy in the end, regardless of what he was saying. The people he is killing aren't even murderers. he is basically killing anyone who has broken any kind of law.Which means no one is safe.

the intro was perfection, eerie & close to realistic. Good use of distance to make the effects look more effective

What can I say that will reflect how I feel about this short film?! Wow! Brilliant! Great color, film, effects and brilliant theme/plot! Dammit man you have to get someone to back this project into a full length movie. I’ve been a sci-fi nut for over 65 years and I say this is on the level of Fifth Element, Blade Runner and evening 2001 a Space Odessy (my fave) thank you for creating the very best ever short in this genre I’ve ever seen on this channel; thank you. 😎👍🏻👏👏👏👏

I'm intrigued.. It's definitely a step in the right direction of providing movies that are entertaining and thought provoking. Great work!

Yes! Please continue to push “The Flying Man”. Would gladly view it! Very creative and hasn’t been done like this. Radio/commentary, news reports were very realistic in this clip. We viewed it and was blown away. This, I believe is a hit.
