This is the best most honest review I've seen so far. You're not praising or tearing it down. You pointed out it's flaws and praised what they got right. I really liked the movie but wish they would've had better cgi and a better musical score to add tension where needed. The music from the snyder cut when Barry ran back in time was epic and emotional. I didn't feel that with this movie but only a couple times.

BvS Batman warehouse fight was the best Batman scene ever done. Just like the airplane rescue in Superman Returns was the best Superman moment to me.

Batfleck fighting scenes & look are the best but Michael Keaton to me is the best to pull off Bruce Wayne & Batman. I think Keaton convincingly nails both roles

Michael Keaton was dope, and always plays a great Bruce Wayne and Batman. It would be cool to see him do “Dark Knight Returns” or “Batman Beyond” story in the future.

Seeing the LEGENDARY Michael Keaton was the main reason why I had to see The Flash. Been waiting for 30 years and MK did not disappoint! ❤ Thought the movie was great. Too bad Ezra's crimes-proven and alleged-have overshadowed his good performance as Barry Allen/The Flash. Hope he really is in treatment. 😏

YES, my dream 😌💭, a live-action Batman Beyond film (or series a la Gotham) with Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne training Terry.

You hit the nail on the head with the Batman fight choreography. That was my fav part about this movie and I hope they get the same choreographer any time Batman is on screen

No doubt about it. Ezra's personal life aside he's a damn good actor. I literally forgot almost instantly that he was the same person, but he's fight scenes were redundant. He's faster and he puches, kicks, and sometimes does that tornado thing. Cool. Batman's fight scenes were unreal though. By far the best part of the movie. Supergirl was great too, but I wanted more Zod and more villains. Overall it's an 8/10 for me, but to be fair, I'm able to seperate Ezra the person vs Ezra the actor. A lot of people can't do that which is obviously understandable.

6:57 Bruce stilll moving like that at 70 years old too. That choreography was on point.

TB know whats up. DC animated movies are always on point. Flashpoint paradox was 🔥, war, apokolips war 🔥🔥🔥, All star superman 🔥🔥🔥🔥..Love the reviews and more than relatable.

The glaring plot hole that is him not being able to beat zod. He goes on some rants about how he can't beat a Kryptonian then puts his hand through one of their chest and kills it immediately. He could have done that to zod just as easily

Kept hoping that was some sort of virtual training session. Looked like a video game. If I had any expectations going in, this wasn't a good start

The final battle in Batman V Superman is one of my favorite fights/battles from all the DC movies. It's mainly because of Wonder Woman. Diana's fight scenes in Batman V Superman, Wonder Woman and Zack Snyder's Justice League are some of my favorite comic book fights of all time.

I feel like if they just stuck to the source material this movie would have been MUCH better……WB AND DC keep trying to do the niche obscure movies that stray entirely to far from what happens in the comics in flashpoint to where old fans of the comics gets turned off and new fans don’t care because it’s too bland of a storyline, just my opinion

Ben Affleck's Batman fight scenes are pretty good as well; especially, the warehouse scene he help protect Martha Kent.

I agree. It was entertaining but lacked that extra “pop”…I was hoping for appearances from Cavill or Grant Gustin or even Tyler H from Superman and Lois….Keaton’s fight choreography was great and you could hear the crowd’s response when you saw the Batmobile. I thought Sasha Calle (supergirl) did a good job too.

Grew up on Keaton Batman so it holds a fondness to my heart lol but Affleck Batman is the Batman I always wanted to see. Just unfortunate he never got his own stand alone movie. Such a bad ass Batman 😂

MAN, I gotta say the fight scene with Keatons Batman is probably the best. I mean he actually kicks people! This one really shows that Batman is supposed to be a mixed martial artist that uses gadgets. Not just some brawler or whatever the helll Christian Bale was doing with his elbows

Yeah Bale’s Batman barely showed any martial skill. Neither did Pattinson ‘s Batman. Yo, how is it that Robert Downey Jr’s version of Sherlock Holmes has had better fight choreography than freakin Batman??! Make that make sense

Thank you for giving it the rating you gave it. I thought you were going to rate it a little lower but you didn't. I genuinely enjoyed this movie. It was funny, sad at times and entertaining. CGI was horrible, both Barrys were annoying but yes Ezra is a good actor despite his personal life. I want to say more but I'll wait for you to put out the Spoiler review if you choose to

If DC does decide to do something with Static,it would be on streaming service,not a film. DC is taking massive hits on their films right now,even with the heavy-hitters : WW84,this FLASH film,Black Adam,Shazam 2,..

I feel like the Batman we see at the end is a BOLD move (pun intended) by DC. I’d love to see him stay on as Batman for Brave and the Bold. But I think they are recasting.

Batman v Superman warehouse fight scene is one of the best fight scenes in comics movies thus far. There was no CGI and it was a continuous shot. The best DC movie is Joker. It had so many layers to it and I think DC does better when they focus on their Villains.

One thing I liked bout this batman this is the FIRST time in live action I’ve seen a Batman use a batarang in combat

James Gunn kept being quoted saying The Flash is the greatest comic book film ever. However, after hearing a couple of his interviews, I think he’s being sarcastic.

BATMAN CHOREOGRAPHY! I loved the coreo in this movie, more so for Keaton here, but the greatest of all time is STILL Affleck in BVS warehouse scene. That’s it

Sad Ezra Miller is nuts cause he's a great actor. I loved the movie, wanted more Zod and villains.

I saw 0 spoilers before seeing the film so legit cried 🥹 seeing Michael Keaton back as The Bat 🦇. Every scene with him was the BEST part of The Flash to me. Loved his simple explanation of a multiverse, take note Marvel. Also, him showcasing ninja skills 🖤. The CGI was trash. Tired of the video games ads in films, I want REAL stakes live-action. Best fight 🎬: Batman (Micheal Keaton) fighting his way up that bell tower through henchmen w/ different fighting skills to rescue Vickie. It was both funny and EXCELLENCE 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽.

Dope review. I agree with all the comments on the Batman scenes. I’d argue we couldn’t get those looks and choreography in the fights back then because of limitations in technology back then. And despite whatever new actor may be casted in Gunn’s new universe, I think Ezra did a decent job in this, but whoever keeps telling him to run like that needs to be fired. It looked just as stupid in this film as it did in Justice League.

I think if Robert Downey Jr can come back from who he had become before Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes and still be as beloved as he was in the Iron Man role and it be strong enough for people to overlook Tropic Thunder and enjoy it in this era of sensitivity(real ones loved it)...... I think there may be hope for anybody.

The best fight scene to me was probably Batman getting his ass whooped by Bane in TDKR.

I really enjoyed this one. Michael Keaton & Ezra did a great job with the story. Action was awesome but I agree with the finale scenes being sub-par. I get that they were going for the emotional approach. They just didn't do it as well as Guardians 3. Best Batman (live-action) fight scenes for me would go: Batman vs. Superman; Snyder cut Justice League, The Flash, The Batman, then the Nolan films (Batman Begins especially); then all the 90's Batman movies last

The only thing I disagree with is the stakes of the film. It has serious stakes. What happened to those characters at the end really happened. That timeline still exists

AGREED.Batman solo film directed by Affleck fighting Deathstrock would've been-FIRE. Easily.I don't know what went on behind the scenes tho.

Ben affleck fight scene is still my favorite but Keaton reminded me of the Kevin Conroy batman in justice league when he fought the big kryptonian.

Robert pattenson batmans fighting is the best to me. He is slightly better than Affleck because you can see martial arts but also aggression and pain from his loss. He also gets hit which is more realistic than batman piecing up 30 people at once flawlessly

Pattinson ‘s Batman barely showed any martial skill. He was more of a brutal brawler. I get that he’s supposed to be in his 2nd yr, but he’s still supposed to have trained with some of the best fighters in the world. And I believe that he’s been trained by the League in this version as well. But it didn’t show. To me, Batfleck has been the closest to what the comic book version of Batman is supposed to be able to fight like.

@blaxpoitation8528 there are definitely shades of martial arts but it's very raw. He does a ton of countering but he gets sloppy from anger. He literally fights like someone that just learned martial arts for anger management. Don't get me wrong, Affleck is a close second, but pattenson felt like a man fighting men, not a man with powers toying with inept mindless goons.

The Batman (Robert Pattinson) was filmed like he was a horror character. It was exactly what the comics called for, he was a nightmare. When he appeared our feeling was to be horrified. I would never want to see that Batman in a dark alley.

Agreed. Dude was walking through front doors, because he wanted problems not peace. That Batman wants all thee smoke. Relieved to feel pain just to feel anything. RP isn't my favorite Batman, but I think he did well in the role and would like to see him as Batman again.

Keaton and Affleck's Batman fighting choreography was off the chain. The 2 best of all the Batman movies.

The flash was fire. Best comic book movie this year. And yeah they made quicksilver too fast. They gave him flash speed feats.

Best Batman fight sequence…while I loved Keaton in the flash I felt like affleck takes the cake with that. He set the standard and tone with that warehouse scene.

Batman vs Superman was a great movie, extremely underrated Infact all of Synder movies (, Superman ,Justice league)were really exciting!!/ great stories.I watched part of Flash movie too kiddish and I couldn't get into it.

Putting that aside: I don't watch Batman for the fight scenes. 🤷‍♀ I enjoy the action set pieces more. So that tractor trailer flip in "The Dark Knight" is EVERYTHING. Even when I catch it on TV, I'll stop what I'm doing just to watch that scene and then go about the rest of my day.

Yeah I agree with the OP'ness of the DC universe, the worst thing about it is they have all this power and yet half of them are scared of Batman. There are multiple people in DC smarter than Batman and yet lose to the JL all the time. Batman puts his one plan in motion and takes them all out with ease, it's just ridiculous. Then I see something where Batman is using WW's lasso of truth on her??? A person who has gone blow for blow with Superman is letting a human take her lasso from her and using it on her??? Yeah I can't do DCEU at all.

The Flash isn't great. But, it's a lot better than Black Adam. The Rock did exactly what I expected. Which is play the same character he in almost every movie. LOL

Supergirl was amazing in this movie. The CGI is honestly the only major knock IMO. The heartstrings were pulled with the Mom thing and seeing Keaton as Batman was AMAZING! It had all the feels in the movie, the excitement, the heartbreak and the hilarity of Ezra Miller OCD with Ezra Miller OCD. ❤

The QuikSilver scene in X-men can go toe to toe with any flash movie scene n that’s A Fact

yes i was like is this batman or a cgi batman 90% of the time it was hard to tell who was who and what was real.

The CGI took me out of the movie early with those baby dolls floating in the air.
