There’s some very good weapons that get overlooked because of how spongy bosses are. I think for the most part people overestimate how much damage they need to do because of boss fights. 😅

I mean, with the right build, most guns are going to kill mobs really fast. Femos does boss runs and I'm pretty sure the fixer is still the best gun, overall, but mobbing it really doesn't matter. Whatever you want to use, use it.

Decent mag, high firerate, cheap ammo (though heavy), range, high dps, possibility to stealth with sneak + 1 chameleon / bonus stealth armor effects + unyielding and range (something epr can't do with flamer) only makes the dps insane (queen with Fortnite tower makes it possible), cheap in vats without lvc (50% break slower preferred)

I used a bloody one star Lever Action for the longest time. You really don't need much in this game, especially if you are like me and more concerned with exploration and building CAMPS than you are with anything else. Those cave crickets though... They get the shotgun.

@@HiHelloHi I'm well aware as I kill the queen in under 2 minutes with mine. You don't need chameleon. I have a full UNY AP set with a few sneak 3rd rolls and I'm never seen.

That weapon description update is really cool, dude. Seeing that giant increase in VATS accuracy with scopes makes me want to try a rifleman build with a Gauss rifle.

Switched to a bloodied stealth build after watching your content, started using a b2525, and I've never looked back! It's crazy how many players still don't understand how stealth works. Ty for your detailed work.

​@James_Bee ahhh but that is where the switch to bloody comes in. Your free to run more mitigation because you don't need those points In sneak and no action boy if you got the right armor. So for events I can't stealth I just stand up and whip out a tesla or just keep using the fixer with a small dps loss but no difference in my defenses.

I also use the quad fixer but with +50% vats hit chance -25% vats cost so I dont need the accuracy but I might have to try a short scope and tweaked auto reciever after watching this just for the crit bonus. Cant wait for the update. I would like to add in fights with lots of adds you can use 2 adrenaline and 3 gun fu and actually get up to +72% damage increase for a short time instead of just 60% from adrenaline and I find gun fu to just be more fun. This works well with quad fixer as you can do alot of damage before reloading or dropping out of vats.

Team Handmade here. Have a quad explosive less AP cost. The DPS is insane when adrenaline kicks in. I share my gun fu card and my teammates love it.

It would be nice to see in numbers what exactly what +1 agility does to stealth , the same goes for any SPECIAL boosting stat. Now there's a line at the bottom of the screen showing what mods do there could be some way of checking all stats you know like a proper RPG menu

Short barrel would make sense indoors, smaller spaces, like West-Tek

I started using a fixer again recently, AA + perforating mag +50% vats accuracy. Works great in my hybrid build that is mostly focused on pa/melee/heavy gun, but allows me to jump out of my power armor and have fun playing stealth commando without having to spend extra points in perception for tank killer and other perks.

Quad explosive here. I got it on a roll a few months back, and went to your Build to see what would benefit this gun the best. Thanks for the help.

I recently switched my stealth character from a rifleman with a grass rifle to a commando with a fixer and I can’t believe how much better it is. Min max vats, put on better criticals and crit savvy and then hold down y and melt everything

I have F50cRW fixer since I got a bad roll but not bad since I still rekt enemies like cleaning house. I mainly use AA with adrenal reaction with rifleman weapon hybrid (just switching perk cards) since I find it slightly powerful all around and even though I heal accidentally, anti-armor is still there since I suck at being bloodied and not used to it. I just started my bloodied build without PA, I suck at it very bad, my goal for now is to get unyielding armor pieces. AA with adrenal reaction is perfect for my build.

Im glad theyre adding visible stats to the weapon mods, instead of going to a website to see the exact description of the weapon mod

This is fantastic! I have a Quad 25/25 Fixer (I also have a matching Handmade), so I’ll have to boost my AP another way, but this is great news!

While I am currently out of the FO76 game, I got an itch to play FO4 again. Went through with a clean install and downloaded so many mods. Might go with a Commando build in that game as FO76 made me tired of power armor/heavy weapons.

I had my suppresors explosive fixer for the longest time, and its served me well. I wish it had 5.56 ammo option though.

The Fixer is only supreme as a VATS weapon. For everyday mixed use if you want to go with a auto rifle a Handmade will outperform (see other poster who mentioned this). Following Turtles video regarding nerfs (and weapons effected) I just managed to get a two shot Alien pistol. I'm having a blast. Also I'm loving the Railway Rifle. Anyway keep up the good work Turtle.

Yesterday was strange, got 4 Berserk weapons in a row from Legendary Cultists, all crap not a swing speed among them. Fallout 76 keeps hinting to go berserk, nope not happening, happy with my Bloody, UNY build. Has Bloody, Instigating, and Quad, Fixers in storage, so can try lots of builds depending on how I feel that day. When you are full health and using power armor and use the fixer and the hand made and plasma rifles and heavy laser or energy weapon. What cards should I use the commando or rifleman cards or the heavy gunner master gunner cards . I'm lost on what to use for overall damage. And how can I get a lager magazine for my fixer or handmade even the barrel mag is only 20 rounds is three a mod for lager mag . I could also use a new vid on the prime and ultrasite ammo and making it .

I am using explosive fixer 25% damage when low health for daily xp farming then pull out instigate railway riffle for boss kill

I have used QFFVats and QEx Fixer, but now I am having fun with the two shot, Cryo Alien, pistol build. Slowing mobs seems to act like suppressing damage, slowing attacks. The fixers are backup weapons for now. Only problem is, I get a sore finger 😀

I wonder if I can slow it down and see if the short scope is a happier medium ground between ap cost and vats accuracy…

Hi, does anyone know why my plasma cores dont overcharge when im crafting them? I just started playing again after a longer pause and after crafting i wondered why all the cores where only 100% charged. Was there a patch?

I have an Ex2525 radium that I use on bosses under 40% HP. It's fun.

When the new mod stats say "Sighted Accuracy", does it include Scoped accuracy, or is it like the Long Shot perk card where it literally only means ADS without a scope (If you have a scope, it does nothing)?

If you'd consider sometime in the future doing a video explaining range. I've never been able to get what I felt was a clear understanding. Is the number on the card a measurable unit? How can I see exactly how far 110 units is? What happens if the target is 111 units away? Range has been the most confusing to understand imo.

U dont need less ap cost. Tank killer gives enough armor penetration so u dont need the perforating magazine at all. Im level 2766 and I still prefer my faster reload Fixers (quick magazine) over 25 less ap. Especially when ur a herbivore and run around with 600+ ap.

Keep... It is a good roll. Some preferred 25% reduced ap costs as third prefix but faster reload is really good on a Fixer as well specially if you don't have quad.

I noticed you aren't running Good with Salt in Luck. Great Crits and Damage, but that makes me twitchy, because I love spending time doing a food run, and having Steeped teas, Relish, etc, that last me 2-3 days.

any shadowed will work great, covert scout is the best option

if you somehow get perfect roll quad/ffr/25%ap fixer just pop a blight soup with herbivoire all the tiime my crits do like 600-800 dmg.

for rifleman look for plasma rifle and plasma flamer builds and for heavy guner look for plasma caster or LMG builds. Angry Turtle have done in the past some good guides thats can be easliy applied to therse weapons

@@Krormar yea, I ve an idea of what I can bring and I ve seen the video, but I never seen a build for both. I m a casual so I don t play nerd rage or this kind of build that are to hard to mantain. I play full healt mixed, so I would like mixed build with some different weapon then the main stream. I already use plasma thing and they are op but I wonder if the others are just trash or are kinda similar. For example I ve seen the 10mm machine gun that with a stock is really cool or also other weapons that are cool but no one care about

Finally got myself a 2SE fixer a few weeks back. Peaking at 192 damage for me. It’s a beast.

Does the everall damage changed on PTS, I mean will this particular fixer have the same damage minus the extra info being displayed on PTS.

I'm surprised Turtle opted for the long scope. You can just improve the accuracy by closing the gap and since you're stealth anyhow, it's really a non-issue in a lot of cases.

If my memory serves me a good handmade is better in terms of DPS than the fixer outside of the sneak speed bonus. So in numbers the handmade adds up. THAT SAID the sneak speed bonus is more important that you would expect to clear times. If running wek tek or whatever you spend more time moving than you do shooting. If you want to stay in sneak then clear times will be faster with the fixer. Doesnt matter if you save 0.1s in kill time if you are spending an extra 0.5s between kills

@@chaon93 this has been my experience too. I have a quad fixer and an aa handmade for when I get seen. Only those good stealths get me higher damage than the handmade, but I'm in events that shove me out of stealth automatically that I keep landing on the handmade way more often. I think they're all good "time and place" choices.

Can you do though a video for most all common weapons?

AA legendary is now going to be useless with the perforating mag and a quad legendary. It's completely bunk now haha. I've been using AA, VATs cost, and trying to get ap regen kill for the third this whole time. Turns out, high ammo capacity and perf mag is the way to go with that VATs decrease and ap regen.

AA2525, Q5025 It's all I need. Though, I do use an Ex2525 for bosses below 40% just because you can literally see the massive difference in damage once they get below 40%. Best gun in the game.

Q2525 all the way. Both Q5025s and QE25 FIxers are all just decorating the walls of my camp lol. Tested all of them many times on everything from bosses to soloing West-tek and Q2525 always comes out on top in my experience. And it's reflected in its market value too. Nowadays you'd have to give up an arm and a leg (and probably throw in a couple of adds too) if you wanna trade for Q2525 Fixer. Q2515r Tesla for tagging mobs, no question about it.

I've got 6 lol. 3 that I use and 3 I'm still rolling lol

It's interesting how I couldn't get a Fixer to save my life from Scorcher Beasts, but then when I finally bought the plan from another player, that's all I get now. In general, I've noticed that things don't drop until after you have the plan for them, then they drop in abundance. Kind of backwards.

It looks like Prime receivers are getting nurfed!? You have an overall higher build damage on your weapon (102 Damage), but when you scroll over Prime it's only showing 84 Damage... I question this because my current Fixer has the prime receiver and it has better Damage (94). So is it getting nurfed? My current Fixer: Executioner ★★★, Prime receiver, aligned short barrel and stock, perforating mag, reflex sight, suppressor; improved stealth, faster sneak movement speed, +50% Damage when target is below 40% health, 15% faster reload, Bullets explode for 20% weapon damage. Right now I do have a experience perk card load out on, so I know my damage isn't the best... I do have Grenadier and demolition export to help with the fixer, but mostly for nuka-grenades and your west-tech exp farming! lol

I'm fairly new to the game, 1 month playing and lvl 51 or 52. Can someone tell me where or how to best get the plan or a ready made Fixer and a good sidearm to pair it with? Edit: Or, if someone can make me a good Fixer for a sneak build and I'll provide the mats plus pay you in caps.

@@GabeHeron I went with your suggestion on the shadowed mod. However, I used light metal because I don't have shadowed for leather armor, yet. Also, I went with light build since my character isn't a strength build. I can change it if studded is necessary for it. Now, trying to roll the legendary mod. Isn't unyielding preferable for bloodied builds? I'm going for a full health build. Is Chameleon a viable replacement?

Nice find. It's pretty crazy how some people don't know the value of what they're selling. I found B2525 Handmade, Q50c50Break railway, Red Asylum, TLC and several rare Fasnacht masks (including 2 loons) all for dirt cheap (most expensive was the red dress for 15k). And that's just this year lol. Probably because of the influx of new players we had on PS.

Hey Turtle, do you think for an explosive fixer its a good idea to avoid all sneak related perks and also not use silencer and rather use compensator for increased Vats Accuracy?

I use B25252 Fixer and B2525 Handmade I don’t use my BE Fixer and Handmade tho cuz it takes away the stealthy vibe for me

If you want to use this gun do yourself a favor. If you have the twisted muscles mutation get rid of it. You can still use it with it but you wont be as accurate, dps etc.

Too bad tweak auto doesn't work with prime ammo.

I rolled an AA ffr fixer and I enjoy it. By no means a groll but it gets the job done. Crazy how much better the fixer is than the handmade

If you do not use VATS then the fixer is just as bad as a standard combat rifle due to the recoil. Some players do not use VATS so saying it is the best is incorrect without mentioning the VATS caveat. For no VATS the best is the handmade because it has low recoil and you can get all 3 rounds on a 3 round burst on target much further away where a combat/fixer can get just the first round hit and that's with center of mass shots for each. More comparable damage on the weapon card is meaningless when just 1 of 3 rounds hit the target on the higher damage weapon when all 3 hit on the lower damage. May as well triple the lower damage weapons damage numbers for that range and then do math to calculate until both weapons get all 3 where the lower damage weapon card is actually more. And the Fixers recoil makes it only good for CQB fights without VATS. It is also on par with the Tommy gu... sorry Submachine gun at the same range, one trades spread and damage for faster firing but in West Tek they may as well be the same outside of VATS with the Handmade between them... CQB there is no real better... the same burst time does the same job.

Hello Turtle, I'm sorry to bother but I need your help. I'm a long time fan of yours as well as of Fallout, but recently have been permanently banned seemingly completely at random. As someone who is so experienced with the game, do you have any advice for me? I have never cheated and have attempted to communicate as much to Bethesda Support, but unfortunately seemingly whatever they believe I have done is bad enough that they will not hear out my case. What should I do? I have over 800 hours in the game, I can't imagine losing my account and all of that time.

If you have no luck with support ticket try creating the twitter post explaining your case best you can and tagging fallout76 bethesda and bethesda support, it can move your case up a bit and someone else will possibly revisit your ticket. Unfortunately that's all I can do for you

thank you 4 all the videos ... but im pretty sure this was diffrent before how is the perfurating magazine better than the sting magazine ? because of -1 AP cost ?? i could of sworn perfurating magazine did more dmg than all (except prime of coarse) before. and one more 4 u ... i've seen everyone say sneak dmg doesn't matter for commando , but 4 me that sneak dmg comes into affect alot & i am sure as hell no in sneak ?? 🤨
