Recently started again and the fixer was the first thing I did, I find using the single shot variant is so good for early game especially on ammo

100% agree with you! Single shot until you have excavator armor so you can get all of that lead :D

​@@SLOWP71 my comment keeps getting deleted but yes i do have a spare plan and the main way you get it is from events seismic activity and the encrypted events i think drop it, but i do have a spare plan ill pm you my user name :)

I got the plan from the quest where you rescue the reporter from the blood raiders. So happy! Quest is called "Hells Eagles". Note that rewards are random. You are not guaranteed to get it.

@@TheovanR Mostly from crafting.. I'm using Ammosmith and Super Duper perk for it to be worth a lot.. Pretty cheap to craft too, only need steel, lead, and gunpowder

Do you need to do that entire quest line before doing the Encrypted event? Or can you ignore it completely and obtain the plan?

Not sure if it was a glitch or they added new place the Plans drop but i got the plans for the Fixer from the Custodial Compulsions Quest in Atlantic City.

Does the fixer from the quest drop at player level or is it always a set level drop?

in my experiance it drops in your lvl range, i did mine when i was lvl 22 and got a lvl 20 fixer. my friend did it at lvl 40 and got a lvl 40 fixer.

You get level 50

If I put random legendary mods on it will the armour pen be removed ? The drop from the quest doesn’t look to be legendary modded

Those mods are permanent, other legendary mods add on them.

I managed to get the blueprint on my first try at level 13, luckily there was an active group of high level players that joined the event 😁👍🏼

doing this early is not advised. Wait till 50 so you get a max level fixer. Itll last you for majority of the game.

Doing this early is 100% advised, having a weapon that will do armor penetration plus help with sneak is huge early game! plus you can always make the level 50 version at any stage!

I think you can build poster in workshop mode.

One question about the weapons you get in quests: -Will you be able to get them again in the future with level 50 stats??? Is there an option to repeat quests or something like that?

@@GapeGang Quest rewards are scaled to your level, so do them when you are level 50 for max level. Various quest rewards can be traded, however some stuff is untradeable (even between your own characters) Wiki76 is fantastic if you want to know about something in particular.

Four out of five of my characters got The Fixer plan by doing mutated events and saving the mutated packs and opening them all in one go. I deleted one of those characters and started again and did the same event and opened 24-26 packs and got trash plans. So, anyway, I guess 4 our of six tries isn't bad. The one character that initially didn't get the plan that way is because I bought it from a vendor for 5k caps.

All you need to do to get an item to carry you to end game is have a bunch of friends 300+ to kill shit for you several times, thousands of caps and RNJesus.

Good guide but I recommend doing this at level 50 so you can end up with a level 50 fixer

Wow, I wish I had waiting until level 50 to get this weapon... I have a level 30, and most of the mods, but I havent been lucky with the plans, either getting the Flux to make the event starter or when someone else starts the event. Im on PC so I cant message anyone to ask them to make me a base level 50 Fixer. Can anyone here, on PC help me out? Id pay as many caps as I have plus mats for the build.

The fixer is my favorite weapon to use

Very straight forward and simple instructions to follow. Took less than 30mins to complete

I have to say if he actually listen to the story of these quests it’s a crazy story
