A perfect gem! I had seen all the parts too, but nothing like seeing it in context and getting a sense of the characters. (I'm on the octopus' side - about time the king got spilled out of his chariot.) Terrific terrymation. You've really mastered this ultra-short form!

@MattPMedia hmmm, I don't use stop mo pro, I've been using Adobe Premier (although I want to get dragon one day). Also, the quality of my clips is always lost too, sometimes I export the video a little smaller so it looks a little higher quality. Also, your vids look about the same in quality as mine.

That octopus has extremely fluid animation. I've seen claymation legends that aren't as meticulous. People like Lee Hardcastle, Takena and Robert Morgan leave me absolutely stunned, but these movements are something else. In a perfect world this video would get the recognition it deserved.

Well thanks! I did a lot of different tests to figure out how to make all arms move at once. I think I have another video showing those tests. I think my thing is striving for fluidity, whereas other stop mo artists aren't necessarily going for that. So far I've only done my own thing with stop motion. I'm kinda on this learning kick right now. At some point I want to do stuff that has more of a wide appeal though :)

I think you definitely have the talent for it. And yeah I see what you mean. I've seen some claymations that span 15 minutes or more but yours are usually quality (fluid movement) over quantity of screentime. I think you could make a good compromise if need be. But however you want to look at it you clearly have skill.
