To quote Oro: "That guy was mad?! That's funny." It really *is* funny until you look deeper into it and realize how this is actually a brilliant opportunity to look into the mind of someone who cheats at competitive online games. This guy was upset that he didn't get his free win although he was cheating, and that goes to show you that these people, these cheaters, are just so *desperate* to win and such sore losers that they will unironically get angry when their hacks don't work. This is where it goes from funny to sad: Just try and imagine what a sad, sad life that guy must have, or anyone else who cheats at competitive videogames to make themselves look good. Imagine how little you must have to be proud of in your life if this sort of scummy cheating is the only pillar you have to lean on. Why else would you get mad when someone cheats you back and destroys you? Oroboro here invaded his "Safe Space" where he was the only one allowed to win, and he made him loose. And he got angry that he didn't have his way and get his promised easy victory. "Gittin' Gud" is not an option for a guy like this, because even the worlds best player is going to loose a match every now and then. This guy obviously can't take loosing. The concept of not winning infuriates him, so he uses cheats to prop himself up. When this then consequently fails.. It must be *awful* to be such a pathetic human being that you really have nothing else in your life than this. People who think that being good at videogames matters in society in general are a bit sad. The kind of people who get angry when a game like Star Fox Zero has a "No Death"-option because it means their "Pro Skillz" don't matter and *anyone* can pick up the controller and complete the game. But sadder still are people like this, who have to *pretend* to be good at videogames.

Cheating/Hacking/Healing is okay in response to someone else doing it first. There's a huge difference between doing it all the time, and doing it in self-defense. Is it okay to kill people? Probably not. Is it okay to kill people in self-defense if their intention is to kill you? Yes, in most countries that's legal. Scum who stand around in PvP-areas, waiting for people to "Lulzors, pwn!" with their "Mad Zkilzz" (Read: Cheats) deserve no better. The fact that this guy had the gall to then call someone else out, whining that they were cheating in response to his own cheating.. That's incredible.

People like Twools and dgrayed are/were still out there to do this kind of shit for a very long time. They even streamed and made videos of it and never got banned.

That is not "stooping down to their level", that is simply equalizing the playing field on a game that has no shield against these kinds of things. That is naive especially on a game in which the online interactions are mainly predicated upon PvP action.

***** So again, the thing that differentiates this action is the fact that my self-defence is not something I'm planning to use on people who play legit. It is simply a plan B, and the best plan B there is due to the simple fact that a majority of the hackers in the game know how to hack themselves some über weaponry and they no longer are stupid enough to get lured into a fall unless they are really abrasive. The hackers do it on innocent players unjustly, and they deserve to get their own medicine.

+Mj0Skyver Well, there's the infinite poise hackers I've met as well. Backstabbing works on them though so if you catch them, you can still kill them with gravity. Always gud with Hornet Ring, doubles distance with fists or something.

I love how butthurt the hackers get when you beat them too. Most of them just use infinite health and spam their weapon. No skill at all. And then they try to justify it in all these stupid ways. Good job though. My eyes were poppin outta my head when you almost died a couple times

the hacker was micmou not grandmaster kiki, she was a invader that vanishes at the same moment you arrived ^^ the ideal height and red point are the 2 blue invaders and wicked knight the helper from the hacker ^^ (sry for my english but im german ^^)

first vid watching this guy; must say you're the scariest DS player I've ever watched in terms of PvP in my adventures through YT so far.

Yeah, from my experience cheaters are the types of people who fight against you when they think they have a massive advantage over you, but then run away when they are losing. I had a cheater recently who took 8 damage from my chaos weapon, and had infinite stamina. He spammed parry and R1, and chugged when he got low (infinite estus?) But after I backstabbed/parried him 30+ times he started trying to run to the fogwall. Luckily I killed him before he got to it since he never had infinite health.

You know what always pissed me off about katanas in Dark Souls? The Iaito. Entirely because of one thing: It does bleed damage. Bleed damage in general isn't what bothers me, it's the fact that an Iaito is the thing doing bleed damage. Real Iaito, if you didn't know, are BLUNTED katana used for training. Blunt. As in, no edge to cause bleeding with.

Aenima72826 Technically, yes, but then why doesn't the Great Club cause bleeding? The Bleed implies the weapon is cutting the target particularly severely, and causing more intense bleeding from their wounds. What the hell is a blunt metal stick going to cut? You'd have a hard time cutting a watermelon with one of those, let alone a person.

+Mr. Kitty Saves The World I get your point but all the katanas in dark souls do bleed damage and the iaito being the weakest of the katanas in terms of damages means it would be underpowered, I also believe that uchigatana means blade for striking :)

that blue phantom was pretty smart cause when you were almost dead he backstabbed to give you a chance to heal and let stamina recover.

+JPG Ghost This is a long time ago, the grain ring would work at up to 50% equip load. So he has fap ring+ darkwood grain ring at around 49% equip load

What armour were you wearing, the elite armour? I'm simply curious because at the moment I'm wearing stone plate armour for the full protection with the steel ring (+50 extra protection) while fighting PvE. Is it better to be more lightly armoured in a fight or can you get your stats so high later on in the game that it doesn't matter?

Fun Fact: Priscilla's Dagger takes the longest of all the bleed based weapons to actually build up. Use the Flamberge or Lifehunt.

Firstly, YOU responded to my comment. There are various techniques to counter back-stabs, like circling the opposite way the fisher is circling, etc. It has to be the weapon, not the skill, according to you.

how can you move with the grain ring and wearing all of elite knight gear except for the gauntlets, even worse they are havels, and still you can use the grain ring?? my charachter was 156, with 76 endurance and i couldnt roll like that!! but hey, great fight.. ;)

youll be able to tell because when you hit them their health will show but not the damage numbers and it will almost always be full.

It's unfortunate that this situation is like almost every other invasion now.

Uhhhhh. I have a question, though. How is Oro's equip load high enough to use full elite knight gear AND Havel's gauntlets without using both FaP ring and Havel's ring? Did that get hacked too?

Ian Clark this is gameplay from pre-patch, you only needed to midroll to ninja flip, so without the dark wood grain ring he'd be mid rolling.

What else could he do? He needed to build bleed on the hacker to kill him, which meant spamming R1 like a mad man. It's unfortunate that he spawned as a blue phantom.
