Not only you visit other cities that many tourists or foreigners would not even bother to see but also you give very niche and interesting local and historical facts about these places. Absolutely correct. Turkish culture is incredibly rich, but in the West, not even 1% of this culture is known and most people are not interested in getting to know it. They settle for a few clichés and then look down on the country and its people.

bursa is actually known for "green bursa" which was real in the past. the reason why they call it green is because the city was under all green trees, forests and has cool traditional ottoman houses inside. but now, it's fully covered with soulless gray reinforced concrete buildings. unfortunately we couldn't protect it from that. many of us think that it's like a betrayal for this historical city. maybe you want to check out its old photos on the internet and see how it was look like. thank you for making such videos, keep going!

Another nice video. Cumalıkızık is such an authentic, even mystical place. Bursa Ulu Cami is my favorite among all grand mosques in Türkiye. Except for the pre-Ottoman Divriği Grand Mosque in Divriği/ Sivas, a Unesco heritage. Mount Uludağ is also called Mount Olympus.

Pizza word&food comes from turkish pide/pita , >> pita is actually is indian some kind of bread, ottomans saw it and turns to turkish food pide/pita with meat cheese etc, a lot of turkish living in egypt (before ottomans there was a turkic sultanete too, rulers turk but people egyptian araps ) so pita start to made in egypt too , but in egpytian arabic letter D (dad) pronounces with Z so word Piza first used in egypt. İtalians saw the food and turned to Pizza (in italian sound t comes if u see too zz , like read pizza as pitza or read piazza as piatza (square) .

@@TravelLordOnLoc The name of the doner is doner because it is cooked by rotating around itself. The Arab word "shawarma" comes from the Turkish verb "çevirme" which means spinning. The same goes for the Greek "Gyros". I even have old pictures, if I find them I will share the link with you.

It’s not bazar in Turkish but Pazar, which means a Market or Sunday ( the day of marketing) in Turkish It’s not a kebab but Kebap in Turkish and it doesn’t mean at all the meat of the Döner(Çevirme in the East of Anatolia) Kebap is an adjective of Persian origin I think, and it means Delight or Delightful So you have ate a delightful İskender (Alexander in Turkish) with Döner meat (or Çevirme as we’re call it in East Anatolia to read Tchevirme like Tchécoslovacia the same Tch sound like Tchetchen is Ç in Turkish) Second huge mistakes, those hats in the Pazar are not at all Fez but KALPAK a Central Asian traditional hat of Turkic people Fez is not Turkish neither Turkic, it’s origin comes from Ancient Greek sailors of antiquity and the Turks have rediscovered it very late in ottoman history, in 1820, in Morocco called the kingdom of Fas in Turkish which gave its Turkish name of Fez cause Sultan Mahmut the Second launch the Tanzimat ( The Reforms of the modernization of the ottoman state) and a visible sign was the adoption of this new hat called Fez in Turkish

Osman and Orhan are actually known as Beys (Lord and/or Chief) as they were just independent tribal warlords, although very good ones. Orhan's successor Murad I was the first Ottoman monarch that used the titles Sultan and Khan. Also the Emperor title of the Ottomans, the Padishah was first used by Mehmed II the Conqueror as he was the one that captured the seat of New Rome (Constantiople) and styled himself Kayser-î Rûm (Caesar of Rome) Consequently the Ottoman State was known as the Ottoman Beylik in times of Osman and Orhan but became the Ottoman Sultanate with the reign of Murad I Hüdavendigar and didn't actually become the Ottoman Empire until the reign of Mehmed II Fatih. Edit: This is actually really pronounced with the turbans that are above their coffins. Orhan captured a city (Bursa) and established complex government structures and so I guess he styled himself with the title of Sultan. Because his turban's style symbolizes the sedentary institutions of the fledgling Ottoman State whereas Osman's börk has a much more nomadic and tribal style, it is not even a turban.

You should check the earlier photographs of Bursa (1900-1930s). The governments after our glorious leader Atatürk were all contributed to the destruction of our traditional architecture. Owing to the migrations coming from the east, our beautiful cities lost their culture. If west had a city like Bursa, it would keep it in a glass jar and charge everyone looked at it...
